About this villa rental
Vila Maria Quinta is an old family house.In 2012 we decided that we wanted to share this wonderful place with the world. So we renovated the vila and transformed into 5 units modern appartments they are today. The Vila is a very tranquil, calm piecefull place, especially outdoor areas.
Vila Maria Quinta is a large house within 6 bedrooms sleeping 14 people, there are a few kitchenettes, within same rooms 2 big living rooms with 5 tv, 2 large fully equiped kitchen and a 5 bathroom.
A large terrace, outdoor BBQ area with a swimming pool, that can be heathed ( if you like) with a saltwater system and a large forest garden that lies behind the house. While you walk through the garden the rest of the world simply seems to disappear, all you hear are the birds and the sound of the streaming water.
Along the garden path there are many sitting area's where you can enjoy nature or read a book.
With all the nature surrounding, it will feel like you are miles away from civalization, where as in fact Calheta village is just around the corner, and it's beautiful beach is only 2 km away!
Where are also just 5 km away from Rabacal Valley, this is where some of Madeira's most famous walks start!

Spacious ,well equipped, spotlessly clean property. Communication with owner and then Angela was very helpful and smooth. everyone in our group enjoyed the stay at the place. Highly recommended.

Excellent Villa would recomment it highly. Angela our property manager was excellent. Of course a few minor things were missing and all in took was one call to Angela to make thing right. Just one more comment , the airport is almost 1hour way which relates to a 90 euro taxi ride.

The property has a wonderful location in the hills above Calheta, the facilities provided were perfect for the extended family of 10. Very quiet, very clean, and great communication from the owner.

As a family of ten with ages ranging from 13 to 75 we all had a lovely time, chilling in the pool and exploring the seemingly never ending garden and woodland.
I would have preferred a bit more pre occupation notes especially about the preferred route to access the villa as Google takes one up a steep and very narrow road that has cars parked on the road. Otherwise I can fully recommend this villa.
