"Hidden Gem" is disability and child-friendly. It is situated with one step leading to the front door - there are no steps to be climbed to move about the house, all on one floor (which includes 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms).
THE ENTIRE HOUSE HAS RECENTLY BEEN REMODELED. The golf cart is a new 6-seater with seatbelts!
There is a king-sized bed in the main floor master bedroom, with a private bathroom with a walk-in closet. The master suite is incredibly spacious with lots of privacy.
A queen bed (and a twin a murphy bed) makes up the guest room on the main floor with a nice walk-in closet and a full bathroom directly connected. The décor is just delightful and makes guests feel at home!
Both bedrooms have lighted ceiling fans. The rooms are light and bright, and you'll just love them!
The living room has a large sofa and four chairs for kicking back and relaxing in comfort. You will find a Bluetooth speaker ready to be linked to your phone to stream the music you enjoy. The living room also has a Roku/smart TV - so remember to bring your Netflix/Amazon Prime/streaming credentials with you on your trip. There is more than enough room for everyone to settle in at "Hidden Gem."
This privately-owned home has a new kitchen featuring quartz countertops, a white subway tile backsplash, and high-end stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped (full-sized refrigerator!) for the enthusiastic cook who enjoys feeding family and friends! A Keurig coffee machine (and a few starter coffee pods) is available, and the kitchen includes a sitting counter for quiet mornings as the rest of the crew emerges from their restful night's sleep.
There is a full-size washer and dryer in the hall bathroom with detergent provided.
The outdoor space at "Hidden Gem" is lovely! A screened-in patio is complete with a dining table (seats 4) and twinkle lights. The patio backs up to the Links driving range with the bay in the background!
"Hidden Gem" is located within the resort of Sandestin® and is on the bayside nestled amongst golf courses, the conference center, and Baytowne Wharf! The beach is a mere 1.5 miles away (please bring your own beach towels), close enough to cart, walk, or bike over but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle (and noise) of beach life. Walk out the front door and head in any direction towards fun and entertainment! All of the fun is within 1.5 miles of the front door!
We will send you a link to our proprietary online guidebook after you book with us. This guidebook was 100% compiled by us, your hosts, and includes 15 main sections of information, 53 sub-sections of content, 45+ activity suggestions, and 50 dining recommendations. We compiled the information in our guidebook from our own experiences, recommendations of our prior guests, and input from Sandestin® Resort locals. We asked our fall guests to try it out and provide feedback and they all loved it - "Thank you, Courtney! Your guidebook is amazing! You answered all of our questions plus more, so much useful information for our trip!" We are excited to share it with you!
The owners take great pride in providing the types of amenities that they, themselves, look for when traveling with their friends and family. You will find everything you need to cook, relax, and enjoy your vacation, including the new golf cart, a full-sized washer and dryer in the home, power stations on each nightstand and desk, beach chairs, a pack-n-play, and a booster seat for your use. Cleanliness is critical to a guest's experience and we employ the most highly-rated housekeepers in the area.

* Surveillance Device Disclosure: We have a security doorbell and cameras outside the home that record video and audio of those entering the home from all doors. There are no devices inside of the home.
* Golf cart keys will be left out for guests after liability waiver is signed and returned

This was our first time to take a family vacation to the Emerald Coast and staying at this Sandestin resort made it a perfect vacation. Every question or concern we had leading up to the check in was answered fast! We loved everything about this location. Thank you for making this the best family vacation! We will be back many more times!

We absolutely loved this property, it was just as described and had everything we needed! The golf cart was a HUGE bonus. Everyone drives golf carts here. But not having to get in your car after the beach was amazing! We plan to return next year.

Our family stay in Destin was absolutely WONDERFUL! The property was beautiful and everything we had hoped it would be! Location was great, beach was close and different pools to choose from and the golf cart was super convenient. My family had the best time and we will definitely be staying there in the future!

This is a beautifully updated home in Sandestin. My family was honored to be the first guests in this home. It’s located on the driving range and was so peaceful. The golf cart was so nice to travel back and forth to the beach, and visit Baytowne Wharf. Courtney was an attentive and responsive host and was a pleasure! Thank you for a lovely stay!
