Newly renovated 1928 house in the heart of downtown New Castle. If you like great food, laid back atmosphere and tons of outdoor activities, you'll love New Castle. This property is super unique and located right next door to the one and only Hogback Pizza!! Bring your bikes, paddle boards, and sense of adventure!

Please keep in mind New Castle has active train tracks so you will experience the excitement of trains running through the middle of town at any time. They're loud and exhilarating!! Great for train buffs! We look forward to you staying at Sparky's Place!

We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. The place is adorable and perfect for my sister and I along with our youngest kids (15 and 16). We absolutely loved being in walking distance from a restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sparky's place. The house was a lot bigger than it looked in the pictures which was a nice surprise. Diane and Dustin were easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. Thank you for the gift card for Hogback's. The pizza was delicious!!

My husband, 2 year old son and I stayed for a few days at the property it’s a very cute nicely redone older home in old town. 15 mins away from Glenwood springs with easy access to the highway. The house was clean and well kept.

We enjoyed our night in this cute little mountain town. It was the perfect location to spend the night before a day at the Hot Springs. Very clean, we loved the welcome sign, pizza was great, and the little town was adorable! One suggestion - either blinds or curtains that aren't see-through for the living room would be great to increase privacy. Also, not sure if you're aware, but the window in the front room is cracked. Didn't have any safety concerns, just wanted to let you know! Thanks :)

The cottage was spotless! The beds were comfy! We loved how the cabin was decorated and the owners left us a gift card for the pizza place next door (pizza was delicious)!We came to the area to snowboard at Powderhorn and Sunlight and the cottage was a perfect home-base location for us.

We loved this VRBO! It is so quirky and fun and more than met our needs. The owner is wonderful too and we loved their pizza joint next door. The ONLY negative is bad though and it is out of their control. It is next to the railroad tracks and the train sounds its horn while going through town... 4 times one night! I recommend this rental but bring earplugs. They MIGHT help but they are not included with the rental.

Very convenient to the hot springs at Iron Mountain. The place was very comfortable for two couples and having Hogback next door was a huge plus! The 437 salad and the pizza were both awesome!

My family was in the area for an event in Glenwood Springs, CO. This house was about a 40-45 minute drive from there; however, the price and overall look of the place made it worth it! The restaurant was amazing; house was very clean and welcoming! We will definitely stay here again if in the area. Only downside is the train(s) that come through at different hours of the day. Those could possibly wake you up throughout the night but wasn't an issue with my family.

We loved our stay at the little house in Newcastle! What a cool town! We came in for a wedding and after working hard for our friends to get the wedding off the ground to come to the house in Newcastle and the clean, quiet, restful space it was... exactly what we needed! We loved the ability to chill around the kitchen island at night and get restful sleep at night! Even with the train! I so want to come back and stay here again! So glad we found this place, thank you!

We were in New Castle for Rides & Reggae event. A really fun 2 day event. Our VRBO was great. Clean, charming, lots or character and a great location. Check in and check out was really easy. We’d happily stay there again.

My friend and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We felt so comfortable during our stay. We enjoyed the delicious pizza next door, highly recommend!! Very cute remodel of an older home. The location was very convenient (we were looking for property a bit West and East of here and anywhere in between). We stayed with our adult daughter and her husband. The small one bathroom was something to work around with 4 adults, but we are easy going and made it work. The beds were comfortable (recommend to place a dresser in each bedroom) and the living and kitchen space good places to hang out. Overall, loved the stay.

This place looks just like the pictures! It was an adorable small home that was comfortable for our family (two adults and one young child). We had a hiccup at check in, but the property owner was quick to respond and correct it. Overall a lovely stay, and somewhere we are likely to visit again in the future.

We loved the location of this as it was an easy stop on the route to our final destination. However some feedback I have is that if a property is going to have a strict no pet policy it might be a good idea to not have a sofa and chair that have possibly been used as a scratching post for a cat. My sister had a bit of an allergy fare up from sitting in the armchair in the main room. Another item to note would be to have at least the front a/c until on, when we arrived the home was VERY hot and took a while to cool off. Other then that the bedrooms were nice and clean and cool with their own a/c units and the bath towels were lovely and fluffy and a nice surprise for a rental property. Thanks!
