About this house rental
This renovated sanctuary is a place for you to retreat, relax, reset and revive yourself! Tucked into a quiet street in a neighborhood within walking distance to UF, you will have convenient access to both downtown, midtown, and west Gainesville with this extremely central location. With a huge backyard, ample living/dining space and four spacious bedrooms, your group will have tons of room to spread out and relax. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Our primary bedroom features a king size bed. The other three bedrooms feature queen size beds, two of which have a twin trundle bed. The living room and main bedroom have streaming services and YouTube TV available on the smart TVs. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook and dine during your stay. A washer and dryer are available for use in the laundry room. The coffee pot is a drip pot. We offer a 10% military discount.
We have a 24/7 Ring (doorbell, flood front & back) security camera installed at the exterior of the home.

Fantastic stay with a lot of amenities and nicely stocked cabinets. It was close to UF (we were there for a graduation). We had two people that had mobility issues and the house accommodated them.

Well appointed, cleaner than new! Lovely!Great room for a group, huge back patio and backyard!Close to anything you could need. We will definitely rent this property again! The best house we have rented in Gainesville —anywhere, really! We loved it!

My family and I rented this home graduation weekend for a monumental occasion; my mother was earning her Master's Degree. When we arrived at the property, several bags of mulch were sitting in front of the home. The mulch created an eye sore. The home's interior was very nice, decorated well, and in excellent condition—no complaints whatsoever regarding the interior of the house.
We originally booked the home for five (5) people; ultimately, only three (3) individuals stayed overnight. An issue arose when we held a graduation dinner for my mother. We invited a few of our local family members to join. The dinner lasted about three (3) hours, and then our family members departed. The following day we received an email from the owner stating that she had been watching us from the ring camera and requesting we readjust our reservation to pay for every guest that visitors the home whether they stay overnight or not. I completely disagreed with this position. Renters should not be charged for visitors who stop by for dinner.
I asked the owner to call me regarding the issue but never received a callback. If you rent here, be mindful of this. Also, be aware that the owner is watching you from the ring doorbell. We were so excited for my mother; however, this put a damper on the occasion.
