About this cabin rental
Welcome to Living In the Pines - a brand new 6 bedroom custom lodge that has been fully designed and furnished to help your group feel at home, provide ample space to spread out and enjoy some entertainment, and set up the perfect location for you to enjoy everything the Black Hills has to offer! Even better, it's located in the heart of the Northern Hills recreational corridor in Powder House Pass!
Living in the pines has zero steps leading into the main level from outside, making it great for everyone in your group. As you walk into the main living area, you're greeted with large windows, plenty of natural light, and a huge open living/kitchen/dining area with vaulted ceilings! The open kitchen area is well stock and opens up into the dining room, and living room. The living area is full of windows with a fireplace, and TV. The dining area is just off the kitchen with a large patio door that leads out onto the covered patio area. There's a gas grill on the patio area along with a cozy hot tub with a great view of the stars, and enough space to enjoy some time outside with your group. There's also 2 bedrooms on the main level just off the living area! The upper level includes a loft with a pool table, a bar area, and three more bedrooms plus a bunk room! The loft area leads outside onto a large balcony deck over the garage that has surrounding views of the forest and hills. You can enjoy your company while watching the wildlife from up there! There's also a large two car garage on the main level just off the kitchen area, ideal for parking your snowmobiles or ATV's that you've brought along for your adventure filled vacation!
Outside there's a driveway in front of the garage making it great for parking additional vehicles or ATV trailer. It's located right on the main road through the subdivision, just a couple minute walk from the expansive clubhouse that you can see from the front of the property. The clubhouse is complete with its game room, outdoor heated pool open all year, and larger non-heated pool open in the summer months. ATV and snowmobile trails can be easily accessed right from the cabin, as they're located just on the outside edge of the subdivision.
Deadwood is also just 15 minutes from the lodge with taxi service that will come to the property! You can also be enjoying Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park and more within just an hour drive!

Everything went as scheduled and planned. Our host was great at communicating all the details for us and delivered as promised. Our place exceeded expectations. What a beautiful home! We especially appreciated the Weber and Blackstone grills. We have had less than desirables in the past so the guys were excited to cook! Win/Win! Thanks for the great stay.

Our stay here was wonderful! Beautiful grounds, a clean and modern house, a very convenient layout of the rooms, and each family had a private bathroom! The kitchen is large with plenty of utensils, a large refrigerator, and there's also a kitchenette upstairs. There were plenty of towels for the pool and jacuzzi. Our men really enjoyed the large grill, as there were a lot of us and we needed to grill a lot of steaks, and they made quick work of it! We chose this house because of the large number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the pool table.

The house was clean and large enough for the entire family. We did have problems with the coffee maker not working properly. The oven had a bottom full of burnt on food, every time we used it, the entire downstairs filled with smoke. The children made a joke of it that we were sending out smoke signals. Also after using the fire pit for 10 minutes we ran out of propane. I called and left a message, but no one got back to us. We left a note in the house when we left, so they knew what needed to be taken care of for the next renters.
