From the cozy 3- to 4-star apartments, you can enjoy the entire panoramic view from the Karwendel to the Zugspitze from the large balconies (south, southwest). You also have the opportunity to relax on the lounge chairs at our popular hay barn, which also serves as a bicycle garage.
Golf: Nestled amid stunning scenery, Wallgau’s unique 9-hole golf course blends harmoniously into the Upper Isar Valley. Against the picturesque mountain backdrop, playing golf is a special experience. Our Karwendel Country and Golf Club is a public course, making it accessible to all avid golfers and those looking to take up the sport. Introductory courses are offered by the golf club and the tourist information office. Guests staying at our hotel receive a 20% discount on green fees and range fees.
Winter Sports: For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, 60 km of groomed trails in our immediate vicinity offer plenty of variety. The trail starts right at the hotel! In the neighboring town of Krün, just 2 km away, you can enjoy a floodlit cross-country trail. There are no trail fees in our region! The ski areas of Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Seefeld are all within a 20-km radius.

We stayed in Wallgau for a few days and our expectations were fulfilled. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to hiking/running trails. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you!
There was such a warm atmosphere in the house. The only things we expected to find in the apartment that weren't there, were a bathtub and an oven. They were shown on the Airbnb pictures, but not every apartment is equally equipped.
It would have been good to know in advance.
Apart from that it was a very nice stay and the apartment was super cozy!
