About this apartment rental
Wonderful Kalani Kai condo that's located in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Walking Distance to Everywhere in Town!
Tiled throughout, No carpet! You'll appreciate a remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, good quality cabinets,
Dishwasher, Stove, Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Wifi, Cable TV all included! Air Conditioning Wall Unit in Living Room Only, not in the Bedroom.
This first floor condo has views of a lush tropical garden! The Interior space has been extended, so it's a bit larger than other units because the lanai has been removed. There are sliders that open, but no lanai space as a FYI.
A parking space that's close to the front door as well!
Kalani Kai calls has a wonderful pool deck that is finished in beautiful stonework. A community grilling area contributes to the tropical lifestyle and it's practically right outside your front door.
It's just a short walk to Kailua Pier, shopping, restaurants and night life on Alii Drive.

Everything was excellent except for the air conditioning situation. We had to have the living room freezing with all the fans running so the bedroom was good to sleep in. With the AC running all the time to keep the front part of the living area cool, it made the it too cold in living room and way too noisy. The TV had to be so loud just to hear. That is the only thing needing work and would keep us from renting again. Ha by big said that, if you don’t mind a warm bedroom at night, it may not be a problem for you. I must say this is a great location and only a 3 min walk to Ali’i. And the pool is very nice as well.

We had a wonderful time and the property and condo was great. Air conditioning was good, however it would be nice for a unit in bedroom. A few things that would really enhance the unit: We stayed for eight days and the sofa and chairs got a little uncomfortable but overall ok. On your next upgrade it would be nice to upgrade the tub into a tiled shower, just for thought.

This place was great! Had everything we needed and it was close to everything in Kona. My only frustration was the unbelievable number of emails we received prior to our stay. If you really like over communication then this is your place, but at some point, I just had to laugh. Having to sift through all the different bits of communication to find the pieces of information that were important became difficult after there were probably over two dozen emails.

The size of the accommodation is very nice, however, it has a very musty, damp and dirty smell to it. Being on the ground level there is a lot of noise from neighbors coming and going cars driving by etc. is very hard to get rest at night.
I also did not appreciate getting a call after the first day to solicit me to buy properties? One more note on the downside was how much cleaning up of the property was required of us as guest. Taking out our trash, doing the laundry, stripping the sheets off the bed, etc. these are things you expect to be drugged by the cleaning service.
The location was good to many local conveniences, and it was easy to get around.
