We enjoyed our trip to Grand Lake and our stay at the Golden Moose. The location was great for walking into town to eat, shop and play mini golf. My son loved the hot tub and used it every day. We would stay there again.

I recently stayed at The Golden Moose Chalet in Grand Lake and had a truly wonderful experience. The chalet exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was perfect—peaceful, scenic, and just a short distance from the heart of Grand Lake and the surrounding natural beauty. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the inviting décor, contributed to a relaxing and memorable stay. The hosts provided clear communication and made sure everything was perfect for my visit. I highly recommend The Golden Moose Chalet to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in Grand Lake. I can’t wait to return

I really wanted to love this place. It's beautifully redone and an easy bike into the town. But for 500 a night I expected that it would be pretty close to perfect but there were a few minor issues. There is a hot tub but there was no chlorine for it and it was pretty dirty inside. Moldy - it needed chlorine. We couldn't find any chlorine tabs in town. We contacted Vacasa and the national team was great but we never heard from "the local team" about the hot tub so we couldn't use it. That was disappointing. Again 500 a night. If it was 250 a night I probably wouldn't care. The yard had some junk in it and we couldn't open the trashcan but it looked like others had this same issue. Luckily no bears came by.The furniture on the deck is pretty worn out/splinters from the bench. For the I guess I thought it would be nicer. Anyway, I kind of feel like a jerk complaining but we don't usually spend that much on rentals so I was a bit disappointed. It is very nicely redone inside.
