Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

The house is beautiful, very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was nicely appointed with all the tools and appliances we needed. And the location so close to town and the park entrance was perfect.

The house is brand new, very modern and quite comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and the furnishings are comfortable. The Master Bedroom suite is spacious witth a great bathroom including a soaking tub and all-in shower. Loved parking in the garage.The house is not as private as the picture depicts. In fact, the area is quite dense, and there is ongoing construction next door...literally only feet away. Unfortunately, the next door construction was not mentioned in the listing, and we had to put up with the noise and dust. So if you are looking for privacy and quiet, this is not your house.

This house was perfect for our stay with a family of 6. This is a new and modern home that is loaded with features for a great stay. The photos provide an accurate view of the design and high quality features and it was very clean. Everything about this house was top notch. It has great views of the mountains from inside the house and the large front porch. All of the features were clearly labeled for easy use (ceiling fans, electric blinds, fire place, etc.). When we go back to Grand Lake again, this will be our first choice for homes to rent.There is construction behind the house, but it did not have any impact on our stay. If you like clean, modern, high quality features, super comfortable beds, a big front porch and great views of the mountains, you will like this house.

Let me start by saying, we loved this property! Clearly excellent new build, beautiful views from the porch, comfy furniture, and plenty of room. We stayed with 5 adults and a 2 year old. I felt the space was very well child proofed for that age of child. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed having some meals in the home.
We were challenged by the following which only slightly distracted from our experience.
1. The air conditioner that was promised in the listing did not work. The unit in the kitchen leaked. So much so that the property manager already had planned for HVAC to come work on it on a Saturday. However, we never heard if it was actually fixed or not so we were unable to use any of the AC units during our stay which was one of the hotter summer weeks in Grand Lake.
2. Check in instructions were never provided and we had to reach out to ask about it. We did not receive a response until after the promised check in.time.
Should those items be resolved we would very likely rent this property again!
