Although the furniture was a little old, the house was very clean and we had a lot of privacy. It's a good value for money deal and is even nicer in the summer because than you can use the hammock and jacuzzi. It's also on a good location and there was a lot to use (towels, kitchen equipment, linnen etc). Although I have one point of feedback: the ad on HomeAway also shows an extra floor with balcony while this was closed and wasn't part of the house. No problem, we had enough space but it's a little disappointing since the ad did show the pictures. In the ad text / description it indeed described only the ground floor so the ad text was correct. To get a real good indication the picutures of the extra floor shouldn't be shown when you see the ad.

The rental of this listing began with unauthorized charges. Thanks to HomeAway customer service, they were able to put a stop to this. Where to start......The rental lacked basic necessities such as proper towels, curtains on windows in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The double bed was terribly uncomfortable, the shower was mouldy with pealing paint. The hot tub was also dirty. We booked for 3 days, but left after 1 night and assumed the loss. Definitely not up to VRBO standards.
