Self Contained Studio Flat

Property is small but well formed and would have been fine..... Upon arrival we were told that the internet was not working due to the last tenants stealing the router.. Shaf was apologetic and i was not too worried router was installed after 3 nights. It was the closer inspection of the kitchen that disappointed me most. There was no; cutting board, knife, pots or pans, bowls, desert spoons, colander or strainer, peeler, not even a bottle opener! There were 2 plates 4 forks and a 1 butter knife. This is not a kitchen as the listing states. There was nothing to microwave food in no tea towels or kitchen mitts for hot food. Shaf was apologetic and I was happy that he dropped round some bowls, cutting board, knife and glass bowl for heating food along with the extra towel after he only left us 1... The other problems with the flat are as follows. The bed is old and has a ridge in the middle that makes you feel like you are falling off it. The bed clothes had not been cleaned properly and it smelled stale and smokey. Luckily it was warm and we just slept on top. I had to clean the whole floor of the flat the night we arrived as my socks were sticking to the floor. The water that came off the mop was black. Water pressure is poor in the shower which leaks. This flat has great potential but is suffering from neglect and not regular proper cleaning. The onsite parking, as per the listing, is not free but actually a pay car park. Disappointed that the listing offered so much

The property is conviently located for access to busses, a car park, and shops

The property was nice, however the area was unsafe with drunk people during the day. We decided not to stay at the property and lost our payment.We had to rebook and pay for alternative accommodation.
