About this house rental

Melva’s vacation rental serves as a starting point for adventures and a center for relaxation. This newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 1bath ranch is located on a quiet dead end street in a great neighborhood. Just a short drive to downtown Cleveland. Home to the Cleveland Browns, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Museum of Art. Enjoy Lake Erie for kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing on the beach.
Grill out on the back patio and enjoy making s’mores at the fire pit, while you breathe in some fresh air in a peaceful backyard. Keep an eye out for wildlife!

What a cute little house! A few deer came to visit, the beds were comfortable, and, silly as it sounds, there were ice cubes! We would definitely go back for another stay there.

This was the cleanest rental property I have ever stayed in. Pristine. Spotless. The owner thought of every conceivable amenity. There were even supplies to make s’mores to toast in the fire pit in the backyard. The back porch is a wonderful place to sit. The deer come in the morning and evening and there is an abundance of birds to watch. Very peaceful.Julie was super communicative. Very responsive and helpful.I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

One of the best rentals we stayed at. We drove eight hours for a weekend trip and stayed at this beautiful home with all the amenities. When it comes to relaxation and sleep, this host thought of everything. They had sound machines, fans in every room, and electrical outlets that were easy accessible from the bed, and samples of bathroom toiletries in the restroom. This was such a nice house and we had a wonderful day.

Julie was a thoughtful host. The house was very clean and there were many things provided for us to use during our stay. They even had firewood ready for us to make a fire in the fire pit. It was everything we expected and more!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Melva's place. If it wasn't for the fact that we had so many activities planned in downtown Cleveland, I would have loved spending more hours in this Vrbo rental. The house was perfectly clean and inviting. I look forward to staying here again in the future

Melva's Place was perfect for us! My Niece, her Boyfriend, and Daughter stayed there for two nights. My Great Niece had a Cheerleading Competetion in Cleveland. The distance was not bad at all (30 minutes). The house was comfortable and very clean! We loved to watch the Deer, Cats, and Birds in the backyard while drinking coffee, and a cocktail at night. My Niece, her boyfriend and daughter enjoyed a bonfire and Smores one night. Everything was provided for a fire. I would definitely stay here again. Sincerely, Carolyn A.

We were in town to visit family and Melva's Place was perfect. Great location, spotlessly clean. The house is cozy and beautifully decorated. Well stocked with everything we needed, including some very nice touches to make guests feel welcome. Beds are very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the huge deck and backyard, so quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed listening to birds' lovely singing. We were in heaven with the frequent daily visits by beautiful deer at the back of the property, but close enough to get a very good look at them while relaxing on the deck. We saw many bluejays, cardinals, finches, squirrels. A haven for nature lovers. The owners were great to deal with, responsive with any questions or concerns, but very respectful of our privacy. I've stayed at several VRBOs over the years, and Melva's Place is definitely one of my favorites.

What a comfy, cozy & clean place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at this home away from home. We were in town for a softball tournament, and staying here was just like being at home. Beds were amazingly comfortable, the extra blankets were amazing and the house was amazingly clean. My kids also enjoyed the wildlife in the backyard! Such a great place to stay.

We stayed at this house for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. There were 6 of us and we all fit in the house and were comfortable. The owners provided everything. We didn't have to run to store for any products and there was no shortage of household items. The view in the backyard is absolutely beautiful, even in winter, and we will definitely stay there again if we go back!

This home is absolutely spotless! Easy check in, great communication and wonderful experience. It has everything you would need and then some. There was four of us in town for a wedding and the peaceful setting here was beyond relaxing. The pics do not do this place justice.
