About this cottage rental

Cozy 2 bedroom cottage with two queen beds. Futon in the living room. 5 minute walk to the beach. Off street parking for 2 cars. Short walk to the pier and pirates cove. The host was really nice, location was good, initial price was cheap, good communication. Lots of shops nearby, short walk to the beach.Our biggest problem was cleanliness. We stayed in multiple VRBO's for this trip. The cleaning price for this place was more than the others combined and it was by far the dirtiest. The biggest issue being the black mold on the shower curtain. My wife has asthma and is very sensitive to mold. Other minor things: we had to buy toilet paper, there was less than a half roll left, no hand towels and one queen size mattress had a full sized box spring under it, which is weird and made the bed super creaky.

Nice quiet spot walkable to the beach. Trailer with thin walls, queen beds w full box springs, no towels included. Needs some new screens. Very nice if you’re not choosy.

The property is located in a great spot, very convenient for getting to the beach and pier. The check in/check out and communication with the owner was seamless. My only complaint was on the cleanliness of the property. The cleaning fee is high but the property was not as clean as I expected it would be. Lots of cobwebs that we vacuumed up in the bathroom, the kitchen counter had some stains and dust was everywhere especially on the headboards of the beds. There were crumbs on the stove and dust on the fridge as well. May want to look into getting new cleaners. Otherwise the beds and couch were very comfortable and we appreciated the outdoor seating area.
