About this cabin rental

Plan your next family or friends vacation at this BRAND NEW gorgeous mountain retreat, boasting lovely views, 3 large patios, fire pit and a private hot tub.

With 5 bedrooms this home was designed for families or groups up to 14. After a day at the lake warm up at the custom fire pit. There are three furnished patios with a hot tub and a barbecue.

The interior of this home is unparalleled. It features enough rustic mountain touches to keep the atmosphere authentic, but with all of the modern amenities.

The cabin is accessible year-round and is just a few miles from the town of Donnelly.

With Tamarack Resort just over seven miles away, offering downhill skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, rafting, zip-lines and with the lake just outside your back door, guests staying at this five-bedroom vacation rental will have something fun to do all year-round.

This home is spacious and inviting, and guests are welcomed into a large living area with high ceilings and windows that offer a full view of the beauty outside. An attractive floor to ceiling stone hearth, with a wood burning fireplace, is surrounded by comfortable seating, creating a cozy atmosphere on cool nights.

The living room, dining area and kitchen have an open concept, providing an optimal space for entertaining the whole group. The dining table is positioned for great views, and ideal for dining in or on the spacious deck with numerous heaters to ward off the cool, fresh evening air.

The chef`s kitchen makes preparing food easy and enjoyable. Complete with designer appliances, granite counter tops, and a large breakfast bar with additional seating. It is fully stocked with most of the items you`ll need to enjoy cooking.

This home has board games, and kids will have plenty of room to sprawl out.

This home is located on a paved road and is accessible year-round.

Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.

Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.

Pets: This home is NOT pet friendly. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.

Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.

Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.

Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.

Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.

Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.

Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.

BBQ`s & Fire pits: Please note that where applicable, outdoor fire pits and BBQs are considered seasonal amenities and may not be available during the winter months due to weather conditions.

Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.

Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.

Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.

Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for `drain and fill.`

Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.

Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.

Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed this new 5 bedroom vacation home. There is an attractive, large great room with comfortable seating centered around the fireplace. We enjoyed seating for 10 at the dining room table plus there are four counter stools. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of glasses, dinnerware, and cooking utensils. We prepared all our meals in. The home is well prepared for children with two bunk beds in carpeted rooms. There was a high chair (certified by our two year old as very comfortable) and we appreciated child sized plates, bowls, and cups. There are two child gates available but they didn’t work well because of the base molding. As a result, we had to block off the two open staircases with chairs and other things just to be safe. The home was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. It’s great to not have to worry about running out of things like paper towels and trash bags. We had access to a large and deep garage which was great for loading and unloading out of the snow. Perhaps the only issue to consider for skiers , and we are, is that the home is a 20 minute drive to Tamarack ski area. The home is a long drive down one of the peninsulas in Cascade lake. We didn’t mind it much as it’s in a very quiet and pretty neighborhood and you’re a little closer to McCall and Brundage ski area. All in all, we would recommend the home and will rent it again. Thank you to the owners as it’s clear they designed the home to be comfortable for guests.

A group of us booked this place as we are skiers and snowboarders. The map said that it was 1.2 miles from Tamarack Resort. Come to find out, that is as a crow flies. To drive there, it’s 10 miles. The fireplace on the photos is also not accessible in the winter so the $30 worth of wood we bought was all for nothing. The property management company made no effort to help us except cancel our reservation with 75% refunded.
