We had a wonderful family vacation! The house is laid out perfectly for early risers as well as those who like to sleep in. Our hosts have thought of everything! The kitchen is well supplied, there are plenty of linens, board games, bicycles, and beach chairs. The town of Cape Charles is nearby for shopping, dining out, or the kid’s favorite, ice cream! We brought our kayaks and were delighted to see the concrete shops up close, pelicans, and dolphins! The beach was not at all crowded, the sand soft, the water great for swimming and splashing!

Absolutely a pleasure, probably the best-stocked house we have ever stayed in. The fishing and weather fantastic and a joy to return home to this beautiful house. It's such a well laid out and comfortable home.

Very pleasant family get together from DC, Philly and New Orleans. Perfect uncrowded beach and several nature trails within walking distance. The house layout afforded privacy for all. Kitchen nicely equipped. We’d be happy to go back
