About this house rental

Welcome to Noah’s Ark: Your Beachfront Sanctuary

The Highlights

For some, a beachfront location is all that’s needed—but Noah's Ark offers so much more. With expansive outdoor decking, both covered and uncovered, you'll have plenty of space to unwind, enjoy the ocean breeze, and listen to the soothing sound of the surf just steps away. Watch the local wildlife, and if you're lucky, you might catch a breathtaking performance by the Blue Angels practicing along the coast. Inside, a wall of windows floods the living area with natural light, providing spectacular water views from virtually every corner. The home is equipped with thoughtful amenities like a commercial ice maker and a separate beverage fridge to make your stay even more comfortable.

The Space

This spacious two-story home features a grand great room with a wall of windows, maximizing your opportunity to enjoy the stunning views from the inside. The updated, fully-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare delicious meals, and the ample dining and living spaces ensure there's room for everyone to gather or spread out.

The primary bedroom, located on the upper level, boasts a King-sized bed, a private bath with a jetted tub and stall shower, and, of course, breathtaking views of the Gulf. There’s also a cozy loft area with a Twin-over-Twin bunk, perfect for kids or extra guests.

On the lower level, you'll find four additional bedrooms, each offering comfort and privacy. The King bedroom has its own private bath and also features magnificent Gulf views. The Queen room has access to a full bath, which opens both to the room and the hallway. The second Queen room and the bunk room share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, making them perfect for families or groups traveling together.

For your convenience, the ground level offers a hot/cold outdoor shower and a half bath, making it easy to rinse off after a day at the beach without bringing the sand and saltwater into the house.

The neighborhood offers two sparkling swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts, and several beach access boardwalks. The area is perfect for leisurely walks and bike rides, and many guests love renting golf carts to take in the sunset views. For those with small children or a preference for close parking, a public lot is conveniently located just west of Morgantown.

Located just 15 scenic miles from Gulf Shores, everything you need is nearby. Stock up on essentials at the Dollar General or Sassy Bass Market, or explore the many local restaurants that serve up fresh, flavorful dishes. Popular spots like Tacky Jack’s, Sassy Bass (with two locations), Coast, and the soon-to-open Jesse’s offer both great food and live local entertainment.

Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby Fort Morgan Fishing Pier, where you can enjoy inshore fishing and reel in the area’s abundant species.

This is a beautiful house in a wonderful location. We had one small issue with some linens, but it was resolved quickly. The property manager was great to work with and there was plenty of room for our families to spread out and have a great time. We had a fantastic visit!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a well appointed home with fantastic ocean access. The beach area was not busy at all and we were there over Labor Day Weekend. There are a few restaurants in the area, but with the beach privacy you would have to drive to get to a “town”.

Spent Labor Day weekend at Noah's Ark with a group of 11 ranging from 4 to 74 years old. The layout of the house was great for a group of our size and the location / ease of beach access couldn't be beat. The kitchen was very well stocked in terms of dishes and cookware, and the kids enjoyed the sand toys and boogie boards found under the house. The house definitely needs some love and more attention to cleaning prior to check in. It's a big house, and hard to get everything, but there was literally a small pile of sand in the closet 6 inches from where the vacuum is stored. The bunk beds in the bedroom on the main floor need to be discontinued. There are several sharp edges on the metal frame that they cover with tape and or dishtowels to make safe. It's also extremely wobbly if anyone is on the top bunk. There were a handful of other small issues - leaky kitchen faucet, a few bugs, very saggy floors in some places, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views from the wall full of windows in the living room, but the condition of the house itself leaves much to be desired.
