My family had a great time staying in the Aoudad cabin. It was very clean. The host was wonderful and always answered any questions I had right away. The cabin was very comfortable and decorated very cute. The outside was beautiful. There were flowers outside of our cabin and butterflies all around it. It looked like a fairy garden. There were also Longhorns right outside of the cabin. Just up the road from Palo Duro Canyon State Park. It was a great place to stay!

So fun and right outside the canyon! Would not go to PDC anywhere else! Sad Monkey right next door was super convenient and a treat.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin near Palo Duro Canyon. The location is excellent — convenient for park visits while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. The cabin itself is the perfect blend of small and spacious. It feels compact and intimate but has a surprising amount of room, especially with the charming loft upstairs. The loft is a highlight, featuring a full bed and a twin that worked great for our group. The stairs are a bit creaky, but they're sturdy and easy to go up and down. The bathroom stayed impressively clean even with multiple people using it throughout our stay.We even got to meet the owner, a super chill and friendly guy, which made the experience feel even more personal. The Shepherds are wonderful hosts, and everything about the property was welcoming and well-maintained.If you're planning a trip to Palo Duro Canyon and need a place to stay nearby, I highly recommend this cabin. It's a great little spot for families, couples, or anyone looking for a comfortable base to explore the area. We’d definitely stay again! Awesome experience all around.
