Compound is in the beautiful Albuquerque valley near the Rio Grande. You will stay in a charming, safe, gated historic multi acre family compound with traditional NM pueblo style. This compound, featuring four adjoining guest houses, is a tranquil oasis with the easiest of access to Albuquerque’s many special sights and charms. Guadalupe House features an expansive open-concept central kitchen-dining-living great room, with ready access to outdoor spaces. Adjacent Cottonwood House, only 50 feet away, offers 4 bedrooms/2.5 baths, with a full separate kitchen, laundry room and patio.
These houses are fully stocked with 100% cotton bed linens and towels, complete sets of dishes, flatware, glassware, cookware, and many small appliances, ranging from hair dryers to toasters to food processors (and more). Stroll the peaceful grounds, enjoy the garden areas and century-old trees, view the traditional irrigation ditch (“acequia”) that still runs through the compound. Or just enjoy the outdoors from the comfort and convenience of two patios and multiple sitting areas, a lighted pergola, and two gas BBQ grills. All of that and a 30 foot x 30 foot mini basketball court, a six person hot tub and a fire pit. The three houses, booked as a package, are perfect for families or groups up to 30 persons.

In addition, there is a twenty acre park land across the street, with benches and an easy trail and track. World famous Santa Fe is only an hour North by either the I-25 freeway or the frequent Rail Runner Express train.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was amazing—communicative, friendly, and checked in daily with great suggestions for things to do in the area. The property was beautiful, with plenty of space for our family to gather as well as quiet spots to relax. The grounds were gorgeous, the bedrooms were comfortable, and there were more than enough bathrooms for everyone. The two large houses made it easy to cook and share meals together, which was perfect for our big group. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This multi-house property was a perfect homebase for our group of twelve friends to explore Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Ernie, our gracious host, thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable —well-appointed kitchens, impeccable towels and linens, excellent WiFi, complimentary snacks and waters, and even s’mores supplies to use at the outdoor fire pit. Our group could not have been more pleased!The landscaping around the property was lovely, full of beautiful flowers and several outdoor living spaces. Our group was busy sightseeing, but we did eat several meals together outside on one of the properties many patios.Communication with our host was seamless — Ernie was available to answer our every question and to offer recommendations. We definitely recommend this property!

The compound was unique and very nice, secluded from the city, yet only minutes to downtown. Plenty of room for kids to enjoy their bikes, and they made great use of the basketball court. Check in was flawless- Ernie (the owner) was great, super nice guy and very attentive the entire stay. We wanted for nothing. Would Highly recommend and we look forward to staying there again. The three house set up was perfect for our families that traveled and our local family that visited - if not perfect - it was darn close!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this gated compound! It is a perfect place for a family reunion, with great kitchens and lots of outdoor spaces where children can play. Ernie was an attentive host who went above and beyond to make our stay successful, even purchasing a high chair when we needed it. Many thanks to Ernie for a great vacation. Highly recommend!
