About this lodge
Ellie's Lodge is a beautiful log cabin located at the end of a quiet gravel road on Rolling River Holidays. When entering the cabin, one is invited into the large open living room, dining area and kitchen. A spiral staircase welcomes a large second floor loft with a TV and game table. Sitting on the lovely hillside, Ellie's offers beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains (and in the winter season the Shenandoah River just below). As you walk outside, there is a private porch, patio and lawn to enjoy the views or enjoy the wood burning fire pit! Only 0.4 miles from the Shenandoah River where you can enjoy kayaking, tubing and fishing on the river.
Ellie's Lodge is a pet friendly property, so let your furry friends enjoy the fun too! A $25 per pet per night fee will apply, payable directly to management on arrival.
The house offers three large bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms along with a side entrance opening to a laundry room and mudroom area for those returning from their outdoor adventures. If you love the outdoors, beautiful views and log cabins, Ellies is the perfect getaway!

Everything we had hoped for... Lovely interior with space for three couples to be together, with 3 private and good-sized rooms. Beautiful views out every window! We were able to easily make a New Year's Eve dinner, relax and, even though it was pretty cold, spend time walking down by the river.Thanks so much for sharing this home.

Modern cabin with all the amenities located on a hill overlooking rolling hills and the river. Wide front porch with rocking chairs to sit and admire the views. Very quiet. Owner was very communicative and available to answer questions. This is the perfect VA getaway. 1.5 hours to Dulles, 30 mins to Middleburg, surrounded by farms and country roads. Highly recommend.

Ellie's Lodge was exactly as the pictures portray. Very clean, beautiful view, easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The beds were comfortable, bedrooms a nice size, and loved having the afghans. They have an outdoor fire pit with nice chairs and a great front porch with rockers to enjoy your morning coffee. The kitchen is stocked with all dishes, glassware, pots and pans you will need. It has a cozy cabin feel with modern amenities. There is a smart TV you can sign into your Netflix, Prime Video, or any other streaming app so you can watch movies...(Just don't forget to sign out!) It has 2 bedrooms with king beds, and a bedroom with 2 queens, 3 full baths and a powder room. I would highly recommend Ellie's Lodge to anyone and give it a 5/5 review. Although it does not have a working fireplace, and we knew that prior to renting it, there were nice candles in it that we lit, so that did lend an air of ambience. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Overall, I would definitely rent this quaint but roomy lodge again!
