About this house rental
9th century house with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 4 toilets, two of which are independent, in the countryside but close to the town of Les Herbiers and 12 km from the Puy du Fou park with all its amenities. You will appreciate its magnificent setting with its 2 ponds full of fish, its 300-year-old oaks on more than 4 ha of hilly terrain and absolute calm, its wild life with frequent visits from deer, squirrels, as well as the nests of many birds including ducks and gray herons. The ponds are populated by perch, carp and perch, roach... Fishing is possible, a boat is available as well as two canoes and kayaks. The house is very comfortable, surprising because the wood dominates inside, which makes it particularly warm, it has a very large billiard room library (76 m²) and a renovated kitchen dining room. A covered and heated swimming pool available to our visitors, as well as a real bowling alley.

It was great to return to l'Audurière. Two years ago we stayed with family, this time with friends. On both occasions everyone had a wonderful time. The gite is extremely well equipped and comfortable, the grounds and lakes are beautiful, and Anne and Olivier are so welcoming. Altogether a delight. Thank you!

Thank you Anne and Olivier for a wonderful week at your amazing property. We all enjoyed time in the stunning pool, meals as a family, and relaxing together in the beautiful living room. The kids were also adventurous enough to go boating on the lake, something their parents and grandparents were happy just to watch. Hope to be able to return in years to come.

Extremely warm welcome from Anne and Olivier on arrival with delicious welcome gifts. The house was immaculate and provided everything needed for a fantastic holiday for 3 generations. The pool was great with the retractable roof and we had many hours of pleasure playing darts, ping pong and pool. There was wildlife in abundance and we especially enjoyed watching the otters.
