Shower room with Italian corner shower, basin and separate toilet. Private washing machine in the laundry room on the ground floor. Fitted kitchen semi-open to the living room. Full appliance: dishwasher, fridge / freezer, oven, microwave, raclette and fondue, espresso ... nothing will be wanting and you can always count on the owner's advice for the best addresses in two steps from the accommodation. The living room with direct access to the terrace is equipped with a TV, DVD player, library with local books and board games.

We spent a most enjoyable fortnight here making full use of the terrace with its large table & comfortable chairs and the very welcome garage. The furnishings are modern, comfortable & the facilities up to date. We cooked most days using both hob & oven. Mme & Mr Claudel are most welcoming & Mme Claudel speaks good English. Communication both during the booking process and during our stay was easy. The location is ideal, next door to a cheerful cafe, very close to the lake, handy for the shops with a supermarket in easy walking distance [for a 75+ man]. Gerardmer is a delightful town, in a picturesque setting, with plenty to do or places to sit & relax. Ivy & I can recommend the apartment without reservation.
