The walls are very thin and this room is right by the stairwell. We could hear the people in the next room talking very clearly, and it was rather noisy with people coming up the stairs at night. We slept with a sound machine on and that seemed to do the trick. The curtains are very thin and don't keep out much light. The room faces the parking lot so the lights from the parking lot illuminate the room at night. The windows are also quite old and drafty so the bed by the windows could do with a thicker blanket. There were a few plastic plates and some mugs, one spoon, several knives and some plastic forks. We washed the dishes before using any because they didn't look too clean. All in all, this was a warm place to sleep and didn't break the bank. Just be sure you bring an extra blanket and a sound machine.
