Buller Noire, translating to Black House in French, is a unique holiday retreat located in one of New Plymouth's most sought-after tourist destinations. Just a five-minute stroll to the CBD and adjacent to the Scenic Coastal Walkway, this property offers an ideal blend of luxury and convenience.
Spread across three levels, Buller Noire exudes character and charm. The upper level features an open plan living and dining area, along with a fully equipped designer kitchen, all boasting sweeping ocean views. Fantastic place. Great location and lift was a bonus. However in the middle of our stay we had someone random turn up to make beds. We suspected this was legitimate but rang the host to confirm. But had no reply.

We were in New Plymouth with extended family and some who had come from overseas. It was our first time there and we all enjoyed it so much. Such a cool place and felt right at home. The house is really nice and spacious with great sunset views in summer. A good time had by all. The lift was a bonus feature in the 3 level house after we had all done the Pouakai Tarns. We will be back one day for sure :) Thank you for sharing your Buller Noir House with us.

Lovely property and in a great location just a shrt walk down the costal path to the city center. We had constant issues with the home entertainments which we resolved in the end but was a little dissapointing for this grade of property. We had terrible weather and the property afforded epic views of the tempest from the upper story which was also cozy. If only we chould have got Netflix working..!!
