About this house rental
Binibeca Vell is one of the most popular places among the visitors of the island, with its white houses and charming architectural style. It is located on the south coast of Menorca and belongs to the municipality of Sant Lluis, the completely whitewashed Menorcan houses are its hallmark, there are no large hotels, no hustle and bustle.The two most important starting points are the famous "fishing village", which concentrates the infrastructure around itself, restaurants, small shops, supermarkets, also car rental or ice cream parlor, and the pretty beach with its small pine grove.
“Vela Llatina” is about a 10-15 minute walk from both points which is very convenient and at the same time means you are in a perfectly peaceful location. The house is situated on the slightly higher part of Binibeca Vell and from its terrace in the first floor you have a wide view over the nice resort to the sea.
It is a modern style villa. On the ground floor there are the kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. On the first floor, a bedroom with bathroom en suite. All 3 bedrooms have air conditioning.
Outside the villa has a private pool and the nice solarium terrace located on the first floor which we already mentioned. We recommend to enjoy the sunset from this terrace. .
Binibeca is connected to both Sant Lluís and the island's capital Maó by public bus, the latter in particular is certainly worth a visit with its wide range of gastronomic and cultural offers. The nice beaches of Punta Prima, Binisafua or Es Caló Blanc are all relatively close and can be easily reached following the sea line, by car or even walking.

Although we could not stay in this villa due to building work Menorca Habitat found us an excellent alternative . They communicated well and were kind and considerate. The villa was large and elegant on Cap d’en Font. Very peaceful.

The villa was just right for our family with the pool, BBQ and spectacular sun terrace. We were in the perfect location over looking the bay and Binebeca. We discovered beautiful coves on the east coast of Menorca and spent a relaxed afternoon at Mahon fish market. We can't wait to come back and stay at the villa again (if we're allowed 😃)

The villa was in a lovely location with views over the sea from the upstairs balcony. Everything was clean and tidy in the villa we were disappointed there was no security safe in the property. Overall the villa was adequate for our needs and in a great location for shops and restaurants only a short walk away.

The house ok but could do with some TLC. The grass was very long!! Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of dishes etc. the pool could do with a better clean. The rooftop terrace was lovely to sit and have a drink and watch the sunset. You really need a car if you’re staying here. It is at the top of a hill so walking down is fine but coming back up could present a challenge.
A welcome pack with laundry detergent and washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets along with a garbage bag would be useful. The house was roomy though and suited us fine.
