Two luxurious master suites feature King beds, ensuite spa-style bathrooms, large indoor/outdoor showers, and expansive sliding glass doors opening onto private patios with lake and volcano views. One suite also includes a beautiful outdoor soaking tub immersed in nature.
The downstairs bunk room comfortably sleeps 6 guests and includes a large ensuite bathroom, private patio, and direct access to a grassy lawn perfect for volleyball, badminton, yoga, or simply relaxing outdoors. This setup makes Casa Tres Vistas ideal for two families traveling together, groups of friends, or small wellness retreats.
At the heart of the home is the large gourmet kitchen, fully stocked with high-end appliances, cookware, and utensils. Lake Cote, located just minutes from the house, is a beautiful heart-shaped crater lake surrounded by rainforest and rich in local history and folklore. The lake is considered spiritually significant to the indigenous Maleku people and is also known for Costa Rica’s famous 1971 UFO/OVNI photograph taken by the National Geographic Institute.

Please remember that you are vacationing in one of Costa Rica’s lush mountain rainforest regions near the Continental Divide. Casa Tres Vistas sits at approximately 2,700 feet above sea level, where unique microclimates create constantly changing weather patterns and breathtaking scenery.
The area surrounding Nuevo Arenal features lush tropical rainforest landscapes and unique mountain microclimates that create the misty mornings, vibrant greenery, and incredible biodiversity the region is known for. Rain is part of the beauty here, especially during the greener months outside of December through April.
Some mornings you may wake up in a cloud, while nearby towns may be sunny and dry. Weather apps are often inaccurate in this region, and tours and activities typically continue rain or shine as long as conditions are safe.
We provide some umbrellas, rain jackets, mud boots, swim shoes, and other gear for guests to enjoy the area comfortably.
We recommend renting a small SUV-style vehicle for driving in Costa Rica and in this area specifically. A 4x4 vehicle is not required to access the home, but a higher-clearance vehicle such as a RAV4 is recommended. The final portion of the drive is on a well-maintained dirt and gravel road.
As with any tropical rainforest environment, you may occasionally encounter insects, especially if doors are left open or exterior lights remain on at night.
Brief power outages are uncommon but can occasionally occur in Costa Rica. We provide flashlights, candles, and backup battery support for essentials. Most importantly, our local team is always available should you need assistance during your stay.

The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would book this stay again! It had everything we needed for our family of 8. The home itself is beautiful, clean and the attention to detail was very much appreciated. Its a 50 min drive to La Fortuna. The host provided a very detailed pdf on suggestions around the house - we gladly used all of them and it did not disappoint! We are so glad we booked!

My best friends and I stayed here for my 30th birthday and it was amazing. The villa was great! From waking up to the breathtaking views to come back to a spacious, luxury home after adventuring in Arenal and La Fortuna. It was one of the most memorable birthdays ever! I’m from New York and I can honestly say, this was a great recharge and I will 100% be coming back.

Casa Tres Vistas is an unforgettable retreat. Nestled in the cloud forest, the mist rolling over the volcano and lakes created a breathtaking, almost mystical atmosphere. The open design made it easy to enjoy the views, even when staying inside. The hot tub was a highlight—perfect for unwinding while watching the fog settle over the landscape. The home is beautifully designed, with luxurious beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy game room that made rainy nights fun. Despite the wet weather, the experience felt magical, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. The property is remote yet close enough to explore nearby attractions. If you’re looking for a place that blends nature, comfort, and a bit of adventure, this is it. You’ll have an incredible time. Pura Vida!
