About this apartment rental
Sawtooth Oaks Farm is nestled on 150 acres of pastures and woods. This listing is for a private basement andapartment in the home where we reside. The basement apartment has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and closet. It includes a private living room with a double futon bed that has a single bunk attached. You will have a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub, living room, kitchenette, washer & dryer and a patio area with a Big Green Egg, Blackstone, & grill. You may use our shared pool & hot tub!
We are in the center of a cattle farm, so in the evenings the sounds of tree frogs and crickets are all you can hear. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We also short term lease our home next door, it is listed as Magnolia Hill Home on Sawtooth Oaks Farm.
We allow small events of 15 people max, we do charge a fee for the extra guests over the ones staying nights. Please message me if you are interested and I will fill you in! Our pool, patio, basement living room and yard are perfect for wedding or baby showers & small birthday parties!
We are 1.5 miles from the Franklin - Hart Airport, 3 miles from Highland Walk Golf Course, 3.5 miles from Victoria Bryant State Park, and 5 miles from Emmanuel College. We are near Lake Hartwell, 20 miles from the Gum Branch Mega Ramp, 19 miles to Hart State Park & 17 miles to Tugaloo State Park.
We are also 27 miles from Toccoa Falls College, 33.6 miles from Sanford Stadium at the University of Georgia in Athens, and 38 miles from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.
We are 25 miles from shopping at the Tanger Outlet Malls and the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce. We are 9 miles from Interstate 85.
Our favorite pumpkin patch for fall is Burt’s Farm. It is 90 miles away in Dawsonville. It is down the road from Amicalola Falls which is beautiful!
We shop for groceries in Royston which is 4.9 miles away and our Dollar General is 3.1 miles away in Canon. We have several restaurants and fast food places in Royston and also in Lavonia which is 8.8 miles away.
We have cows, two Labrador Retrievers and several barn cats. You are welcome to interact with them. The cows may nibble and lick you if you want to pet them so be prepared! You are welcome to any area of our yard, but please do not enter the fenced pastures where the cows and horse roam for your own safety.

My family came to the Basement Apartment for the weekend to celebrate 2 birthdays. We had a relaxing but fun day at the pool and pavilion in the owner's backyard. The pool was amazing and very well kept. We had a great steak dinner that we cooked on the Blackstone grill at the apartment entrance. We all had comfortable sleeping arrangements and enjoyed the oversized couches and the big TV screen for movies. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. And will definitely like to visit again

We came down for a UGA baseball game. We absolutely loved the “fan cave” and the hot tub on such a gorgeous country property. Kasie was very friendly and communicative,. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. Could not have asked for a better overall experience.

We had an AMAZING stay! We cooked on the grill, relaxed in the jacuzzi, played games, watched movies, fed the cows and the horse. Its really the perfect getaway from the city for a couple or a family. I would definitely recommend staying here. Kasie was so accommodating and we would definitely go back.

We loved staying here. We wanted a nice and quiet weekend and we got it. Loved the hot tub!!! It was SUPER CLEAN and we will definitely stay again!!
