About this cottage rental

This truly unique holiday home features a spacious open plan dining, kitchen and living area. There are 2 double bedrooms with king-size beds as well as a bunk room which has a single bed (lower bunk) and a children’s sized bed (top bunk). Images are representative and may not be the specific accommodation assigned on booking.. Tucked amongst rolling Somerset fields, Luckington Burrows are the perfect holiday hideouts, surrounded by stunning walkways, cycle paths, and unspoilt countryside as far as the eye can see.

Each turf-covered, storybook-style roundhouse is a home away from home, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful villages of Kilmersdon – known for Jack and Jill’s famous hill – and Mells, not to mention the historic market town of Frome. Nestled in the Mendip Hills, Cheddar Gorge and caves are just a short drive away, as is Longleat Safari Park, and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath – a must-see for fans of Jane Austen and Bridgerton alike! Myth-steeped Glastonbury is easily accessible by car, or why not explore the winding waterways of Bradford-on-Avon, the world-famous gardens at Stourhead, or visit the Cathedral and moated palace in England’s smallest city, Wells.

Such an idyllic location near the Somerset–Wiltshire border allows guests to enjoy the very best of both counties. The perfect destination for romantic breaks, family getaways or a gathering of otherwise far-flung friends… there really is something for everyone to enjoy. . The lodge was stunning. High end finish with quality furnishings. We took our 2 dogs and before we arrived we were offered a dog bed for them if we didn’t want to take one with us. We didn’t need it but they still provided dog treats and a good quality toy for the boys. They have a shower room and towels too just by the car park so if they were muddy we could clean them up. This place really does go the extra mile. The facilities are great and we had everything we needed there. Such a treat as we normally end up having to buy things but not here. Just thought of everything and so well equipped
