The cottage was used during the filming of the movie “Merv.” The beloved dogs featured in the film stayed right here during production, and the sofa in the living room even appeared on the set as part of Zooey Deschanel’s apartment. The property was what we expected. I overlooked that there was only one bathroom, but the outdoor shower was nice. There was not a washer/ dryer or dishwasher, so this could become an issue for longer stays. Location was great. Two minute walk to the beach and five minute walk to pier area with several restaurants. The house was clean and the fenced in back yard was great for our pup.

Location and home were perfect! You can literally see the ocean from the front of the property and it is a short, easy walk to the beach and public access. Home itself is clean and well maintained, and so many little details you notice (if you spend a lot of time if other rental properties) that you can tell there is care about this home and not just a business. Very pet friendly (we did not bring any pets) but outside backyard is fenced in and perfect for pets/activities if you want to build a fire in the firepit. Communication was fast, all details we needed for the trip was available and easy to access. Absolutely would reserve again in the future if/when we are back in the area!

The accommodations were good and it is close to the beach. The neighbors were a bit loud and didn’t seem too cleanly. We had to leave early and did attempt to cancel originally. Request was denied so we paid for a week we didn’t get.
