Hotel Chopin Bydgoszcz

A good location, only a few stops on the bus from the airport and a very short walk from the bus stop. Near to lots of places to eat and drink around, and the old town is walkable. A large, comfortable room for the money with a seating area. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice. A tasty breakfast buffet. Two bottles of complimentary water in the room.

We went during the heatwave and the room was hot. We booked a room with air conditioning, but the air conditioning unit had little effect, especially as it was the far side of the room to the beds. It would have helped to provide a mobile fan and put water in a fridge. The bathroom fan was rather noisy and a clock ticked. We were on the third floor, and there was no lift. Not a problem for us, but may be for some.

The tevevision was useless...only one boring nrws channel There was a low part of the roof in one side of tge room with a sharpish angle where ceuling boards joined. I gashed my head on it...a bit of padding at that point would have saaved cutting my head.. Otherwise the room was very spaciious and full of character.

Spacious room, comfy bed and quite good variety of food in breakfast buffet. Hotel parking is fine, the room was clean.

The room was poorly isolated in terms of noise, windows were in poor condition and I could hear the noise from the construction site outside. Also I was clearly able to hear noises above the room, the floor was old and squeky. Breakfast - coffee machine was leaking milk, milk itself was probably bad, the coffee was really bad. I also selected an option to pay at the property, I was not able to do so, hotel staff told me I can't pay because it was already managed by Booking.com - I am sure I selected "Pay at the property".
