About this house rental

Summary:

A beautifully restored Federation home in the heart of Woolloomooloo — one of Sydney's most storied inner-city neighbourhoods. Three floors of design-led living with warm, curated interiors, 3 generous bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, & open-plan living that flows to a private terrace. Fully equipped kitchen, 4 dedicated work spaces, premium linens, & climate control in every room. Steps from the Finger Wharf, Royal Botanic Garden, Opera House, Potts Point's celebrated dining scene, and a direct line to Bondi. Sydney at its most liveable.

The Space:

Spread across three floors, the terrace offers three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a generous open-plan living and dining area that flows seamlessly to a sun-drenched courtyard with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ — made for long lunches and slow evenings.

The kitchen is fully equipped with premium appliances. Climate control runs throughout, and high-speed Wi-Fi keeps you connected. Each bedroom has its own TV, and professionally laundered linens and towels are provided throughout.

The top-floor master is a loft-style retreat with a private ensuite and views over Woolloomooloo. The second bedroom features a queen bed and private balcony. The third is a comfortable queen room. All bathrooms are stocked with premium amenities — shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap — and a curated local guidebook is waiting to help you explore the neighbourhood properly.

Collected/Places Woolloomooloo suits those who travel with discernment. Families, groups of friends, or couples who want space without sacrificing style. People who appreciate design that isn't just decorative — but considered, layered, and alive.

This is Sydney at its most liveable. Come and stay a while.

Guest Access:

Guest will have full access to the house. A lock box and door code will be provided before check in.

Parking is hassle-free with Domain Carpark just a 10-minute walk away, and free street parking is available on weekends and after 10 pm. During weekdays, metered parking is available for 1-2 hours between 9 am and 4 pm, with free parking before and after these hours.

The Neighborhood:

Step outside and Sydney opens up. Woolloomooloo sits at a rare intersection — harbour-side calm with inner-city energy. The Finger Wharf and its acclaimed restaurants are a five-minute walk. The Royal Botanic Garden, the Opera House, and the CBD are all within easy reach on foot. Potts Point's celebrated dining and café scene is next door. St James and Kings Cross stations are five minutes' walk, with direct lines to the airport and Bondi. You genuinely don't need a car.

Likened to the Meatpacking District of New York City, the neighbourhood rewards those who explore slowly — laneways, heritage terraces, waterfront walks, and some of the best eating, drinking and culture in the city within a few blocks. Art galleries, iconic Sydney pubs, independent theatres and a weekend farmers market are all on the doorstep.

Woolloomooloo has long captured the imagination. Ernest Hemingway referenced it in The Sun Also Rises, drawn to its vivid character and authenticity. More recently it served as a backdrop in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. Woolloomooloo is true inner-city living, and worth noting that, like many inner parts of the city, homelessness is attracted to the area by the community services on offer, something that speaks to its character as much as its charm.

Getting Around:

The beauty of our location is that the best of Sydney is at your doorstep and the CBD is only a 10 min walk away.

The only reason I gave this property a 4 star is because there was a homeless camp across the street and a homeless ministry beside the house that we were unaware of. The house was beautiful, with a great outdoor area and very close walking distance to everything. The host was great and would communicate quickly.
