Poringland is a fantastic base for a cottage holiday in Norfolk as it has two pubs, a selection of takeaways, a supermarket and a restaurant. From here you can see what the beautiful city of Norwich offers from its wide range of shops to its castle and selection of museums and galleries. For you outdoor enthusiasts, The Broads are easily accessible and offer incredible scenery with plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, wildlife spotting and even boating. For a day by the sea, head to Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft just over twenty miles away.
