Very clean and comfortable. 25 minute walk down to the river. Taxi back cost about 6 euros which for 4 of us was easier and not a lot dearer than doing the metro. Couldn't fault it.

Great location to avoid the traffic jams. Very clean and fairly comfortable but basics in the kitchen needed and a washing machine would've been handy. Porto is lovely. We were able to walk and use buses easily and there were restaurants about. A simple base for the city.

The apartment is not fancy but for this good price you shouldn't expect it to be. However it was very clean and comfortable for our family of six. It is directly across from a school so there are lots of cars at drop off and pick up times but otherwise the neighborhood is quiet. There are small grocery stores and other shops within easy walking distance but most of the main tourist attractions require mass transit or a car or a serious dedication to walking. I would highly recommend this apartment for someone who wants a quiet no frills place to enjoy Porto.
