The OPO. APT - OportoApartments is a charming modernist building from 1936. The building is a remarkable example of Deco architecture from the 1930s. This residential complex is the result of a rehabilitation project started in 2012 and completed in 2016, which recovered the building's exterior façades and interior spaces, converting them into functional and cozy holiday apartments.
The OPO. APT - OportoApartments is located in the emerging Cedofeita area in the center of Porto. It is located in the urban circuit between Baixa do Porto, the historic city center, and Boavista, a modern business center and hotel area. In the neighborhood you can find all kinds of public services (health center, hospital, pharmacy, police) and street shops (supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, etc.). Despite being located in a central area of the city, the surrounding area is quiet with wide, wooded spaces.
Mobility is ensured by a good public transport network (metro and buses). The nearest metro station is Carolina Michaelis (two minutes walk), with a direct line to the airport (line E, 20 min), with several direct lines to Campanhã Train Stations (line A, B, C, E) and São Bento Estação (line D, with transfer at Trindade metro station).

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Porto. Die Wohnung liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum, sondern ist ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Praca de Carlos Alberto entfernt. Die Entfernungen sind geringer als man denkt. Die Metro Station ist ca. 2 Minuten entfernt. Von dieser Station kann man direkt zum Flughafen und zum Strand nach Matosinhos fahren. Wir empfanden es als angenehm nicht direkt im Tourismuszentrum zu wohnen. Es gibt Restaurants und Supermärkte in der nahen Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist sauber und alles nötige ist vorhanden, wir haben lediglich eine Schere vermisst. . Wir hatten mit 3 Personen reichlich Platz. Der Außenbereich ist schön und die Wohnung ist leise. Wir könne die Wohnung empfehlen.

Accueil moyen par une dame qui ne parlait ni français, ni espagnol, ni anglais ... (!)
Il est vrai que nous sommes arrivés en avance sur l'horaire prévu et donc ça n'était peut-être pas la personne habituelle ?
L'appartement (Rez-de-chaussée avec jardin) est très agréable pour 2 couples et on peut déjeuner dehors sur la terrasse (certains arbustes du jardin demanderaient un peu de taille).
L'endroit est plutôt calme et nous y avons bien dormi.
Une seule "petite" salle de bain/WC pour 4 c'est un peu juste.
On peut stationner devant le logement moyennant finance.
Pour se déplacer dans Porto (à 4 personnes) nous recommandons le taxi qui est moins cher que le bus (5-6 € pour aller ou revenir au/du centre)
