Everything about this stay was just right for me. I like sheep and I like exploring abandoned railway lines so what could be more suitable than a sheep farm on the grounds of a former railway station. The hosts were welcoming and more than happy to share the story of their place and to introduce me to the sheep. I enjoyed some lamb-feeding and feeding the adult sheep who are very comfortable with humans. The cabin was spacious and comfortable with everything needed, very well equipped - they had obviously put a lot of thought and effort into it. It was comfortable like one's own home, nothing fussy or try-hard, just good and solid. Nice breezy hilltop position with wide local views.

Amazing stay, Lynda and Paul are great hosts! The guest house was clean, well-maintained and had very thoughtful amenities. It was so cute seeing the lambs and sheep around. Great directions on finding the place and the property itself is so serene and peaceful. This may be one of the best stays I’ve had in a while, and we would have loved to stay longer. Super close to Taralga Wildlife Park & about 35mins away from Wombeyan Caves, both are attractions worth the travel!

Hosts were very welcoming and shared their farmhistory life. Breathtaking views, quiet and the fresh country air, made it easy to disconnect from the city’s hustle and bustle. Accomodation was very good, spacious, clean and comfy and we enjoyed the farm activities.

We travelled for a bit of a break from city life and the location was great. Very close to town, only a few hours from Sydney. There's a very nice pub in town that we visited for lunch. There is a second pub that has a hatted chef, but we didn't have time to visit. The accommodation is clean and beautifully presented and maintained - and the hosts are lovely. We were well stocked with kitchen items so we could make meals. There is also a barbecue which we used a fair bit. The intent of the stay was really just to relax, read, and soak in the surroundings and this property was perfect (and very well priced given the high season). Surrounded by very friendly sheep who love a good pat and stunning vistas, this break was exactly what we needed! There's a quaint history of the property that Paul filled us in on and we were also able to feed some lambs with Paul and Linda. Highly recommend!
