This apartment was one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. Being just outside the town centre was perfect, and having a dedicated car parking space was a huge bonus. The apartment was within walking distance of the lake, and with three balconies, it was a lovely space to relax.The bed was extremely comfortable, and the total blackout shutters meant we slept without any interruption. The flat was very well equipped with everything we needed and having two bikes available was a wonderful touch — we could explore the lake or reach the town in just 10 minutes.René and Danielle were warm and welcoming hosts. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave us excellent advice on where to visit around the lake and beyond. We couldn’t recommend this apartment more highly!

Our stay at Rene and Danielle's apartment was absolutely charming. The apartment was very spacious and homely. We enjoyed our time here. Rene and Danielle were so helpful and very accommodating with everything. The neighbour also very friendly and helped us to find the apartment and moved his car to allow us to park near to the apartment. Plenty of clean towels, and everything you would need in a kitchen. The kichen was very spacious for cooking in. There is plenty of free parking spaces. Location excellenct, a very short bike ride to the lake, and all on the flat. Easier to get into Annecy by bike than by car. The local supermarket and bakery very close by, We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to our very kind hosts.

I totally agree with all the nice comments made by previous reviewers about Rene & Danielle Sunni. The accommodation was spotless and unlike some, well stocked with cleaning & kitchen consumables. Even down to a large range of cooking spices. As we had never been to this area before Rene was very helpful informing us of the best local sights.

Rene’s apartment was perfect for our stay. It is clean and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need. Rene was an excellent host, he was going on holiday the day after we arrived but made sure we had everything we needed and left us details of people to contact if we had a problem. We made good use of the bikes provided, and Rene’s wife Danielle was kind enough to let me use her own bike as the guest bike was too big for me. Rene even offered us a lift to a local restaurant as we arrived in the evening. We loved Annecy and the surrounding area, there are loads of beautiful walks and the cycle route round the lake is gorgeous. Thank you Rene and Danielle for a great week, we would love to return one day.

Everything was as described, very clean and well kept and in a quiet area. René was the perfect host picking us up from the station and giving us a tour of the area showing us the location of the bakery and supermarket. The bus stop was a 5 min walk and it took 10 mins to Annecy centre. We would recommend this property most highly.

As a family of four we had a wonderful time. The apartment was super everything you could wish for to make your stay a truly enjoyable one. The owners were fantastic, very welcoming, helpful and were able to give us lots of tips to make our holiday a memorable one. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the use of the tennis courts and ping pong tables. As Lake Annecy is so good for cycling having the use of bikes was super.Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

We made this comfortable and cozy apartment our “home away from home” for two months, and we missed it the moment we left. When we arrived, we were graciously greeted by Rene and his wife Danielle, and they immediately went about showing us all the amenities we would be enjoying during our stay; a big eat in kitchen, a sunny living room and very comfortable bedroom hidden behind sliding screens. We enjoyed many home cooked meals on the lovely patio, and the peaceful sleep we had each night. Everything is meticulously maintained and it had everything we needed to make our two month stay enjoyable. Then, Rene took us around in his car and showed us the area making sure we knew where to find the Casino grocery store, the post office, the boulangerie, and restaurants. There is also a notebook in the apartment that has all the important stuff you need to know in a new area including telephone numbers and maps of the city so we wouldn’t miss a thing. And this was just the beginning. During our stay Rene made himself available for all our questions and made many great suggestions on things to see and places to visit. He introduced us to the great cheeses of the region with a supply straight from the farm. The lake and surrounding mountains are exceptionally beautiful and the town of Annecy, only 5 minutes away, is a jewel. We had many picnics on the lake with wonderful treats we bought at the bountiful farmer’s markets. Close to the end of our stay, Rene and Daniele treated us to a delicious home cooked French meal at their beautiful apartment, which is located upstairs in the same building. When we left, they waved us goodbye along with their darling granddaughter, and we knew we would be keeping in touch over the years to come. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed the apartment, our stay in this region and the friendship we formed with two very nice people, Rene and Danielle.

The apartment is great, just as in the photos, and has everything you require. It is very clean, cheery and welcoming, and the surrounding area is very quiet. It is only a 15 to 20 minute pleasant walk to the lake, or to the centre of Annecy, and if you do not want to walk, there is a bus nearby. Within a couple of minutes walk there is a bakers, butchers, newsagent, etc, and 5 minutes away is a well stocked Casino supermarket. However what really made our say here memorable were the owners, Rene and Danielle. They are both so friendly and helpful. On phoning to let them know when we would be arriving, Rene offered to come and meet us if we needed help finding them. On arrival he gave us all the required information about the apartment, places to go, events on that evening and the following day, la Fete Nationale. Also they knew that I was a keen cycling fan, there to watch some of the Tour de France, and helped by giving me times that the riders would be passing through nearby villages, etc. On a couple of occasions during our stay they checked if everything was OK and were genuinely interested in what we'd been doing. We cannot praise them enough, thanks once again for a wonderful week.
