Powell Lake straddles Walton County and Bay County and borders much of Camp Helen State Park on the Gulf side and the development of Wild Heron on the north side. It is the largest of the coastal dune lakes in Walton County and allows motorboats and jet skis. Access the lake at Camp Helen State Park, a county park at N. Walton Lakeshore Drive, or the Lake Powell boat ramp in Bay County. Approx 650 acres.
