BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, Effective Monday, February 2, 2026: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking.
As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please allow all hot coals to cool completely inside the grill before disposing of them. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. If it is discovered that the fire pits/chimineas/outdoor fireplaces were used or wood was burned during your stay, a fine starting at $100 will be applied. This is a serious fire safety issue, and we kindly ask that you comply with all city-mandated regulations. Thank you for your understanding!
*Please know there is a 2nd unit next to Cherry Mountain, they are rented separately. If you want to inquire about renting both units, please feel free to reach out.

You are a short drive, about 9 miles to Main Street and we do offer Luxury Private Transportation Services, please reach out to us directly for details and scheduling!
Other Things to Note:
- This property does not allow children/infants.
- This property is NOT pet friendly.
** Be careful when on property. DUE TO POSSIBLE HUNTING, WILDLIFE, INSECTS, AND CATTLE around the area. It's Texas, be mindful of your surroundings, but enjoy the view and property respectfully. **
- Pest Control is scheduled quarterly. Due to the house being in the hill country, you will encounter critters. This is common even with pest control treatments.
*Please understand that property is in the country side of the town. Wifi is great but if at any time it goes out due to weather please know that the home owners are not near and you will be asked to reset wifi router.*
Security Cameras:
Camera 1) mounted on the shop/barn. This camera monitors the entry driveway.
Camera 2) mounted on the side of the Cherry Pond house. This camera monitors the parking spots on that side of the house.
Camera 3) mounted on Cherry Pond house. This camera monitors the pond for any issues.

We really enjoyed ourselves! The property was close enough to town yet secluded, away from the hustle and bustle for privacy to just relax and take in nature, from the porch. We would definitely come again and recommend to friends and family.

What a great girls trip! The house was adorable and we loved the hot tub. Everything was clean and bright. We both would stay here again!

This is a beautiful property just a few miles west of Fredericksburg. Very clean, comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Everything you need. Especially enjoyed watching the goats down at the pond while relaxing in the hot tub. Unusual for both bedrooms to have en suite bathrooms. It was really nice. We will definitely be back.
