About this apartment rental

Completely remodeled unit done in 2025 Located five minutes from downtown, easy access to everything Asheville has to offer. The lodge is within walking distance of a YMCA, several restaurants, and Beaver Lake. The Blue Ridge parkway and many other hiking destinations are ten minutes or less drive from our site.
Our lodges have private entrances with key-less entry, fully equipped kitchens, and comfortable furnishings. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible and welcome request from our guest to accommodate specific needs.

This property was clean, quiet and perfect for our trip. Close to downtown where we spent most of our time this trip. Pet friendly Only suggestion is better pillows on the bed! We throughly enjoyed staying here and will definitely be our first choice anytime we need to stay in Asheville.

We had a wonderful stay. One night the tire store across the street worked all through the night. The suite was quiet and did not impact our stay. The folks we were visiting agreed the space was great and will recommend it to future visitors. It was clean. Parking was no problem.

We did a weekend getaway so the area was mostly quite. The place was clean but for the freezer that was full of ice cubes everywhere. It is a great apartment, has just about everything you need. Clean linen which is very important to us. I would have liked a more secure parking place but we had no issues.

Got a last minute ticket for a show in Asheville and needed a quick place to stay. I am familiar with the area and I like Woodfin for its proximity to everything I enjoy in Asheville. As advertised, convenient, clean— —a little more parking lot lighting would help alleviate any safety concerns for most, other than that I can see staying here again!

We stayed for a short weekend trip in November 2023. The property is in a great location, easy to drive everywhere. Lovely creek out back. Amenities were perfect for a short stay and the owner was fabulous to work with. Easy check in/check out. Will definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 3 nights with a friend and it was the perfect spot for the price and location! Seems tucked away but convenient to some great local shops and a 2 minute drive from a beautiful lake called Beaver lake! 10 minutes from downtown Asheville! Very clean and comfortable and felt very safe and the whole check in and out process is easy! Highly recommend this area if you want to be close to all the major attractions!

This is a motel room turned into a suite. No front or back patio area. Back was a gravel parking lot and front was the motel parking lot. 100 feet off of busy road. Loud road noise. Only provided 1 extremely thin pillow per person. There was a hole in the ceiling over the bed plugged with a rag or cotton. Shower had no support under and felt like you could bust thru if you stood in the middle. There were no towels. Host purchased some and left the walmart bag of towels at our door with all the tags on them and not previously washed. The ironing board had no cover, just the metal holes. The paint is chipping off of the walls and windows. Under the sink was filth from prior garbage missing the trash can. In all, worst rental I ever stayed in. Asked for a refund for 2 of the 6 days since we could not stay one more day and the owner denied our request. I had to pay to go to a much better place. I took several pictures of the condition of the unit.

We loved staying here! The apartment is spacious and clean and Patrick was really communicative and helpful. Downtown Asheville was just a quick 10 minute drive away which made it easy to drive or take a Lyft to check out the nightlife. We’d definitely stay here again!

The lodge was very clean and recently renovated, so that part of the experience was great. But the listing did not inform us that it was at the end of a small business center and also on a fairly busy road. It was not a lake lodge like the name implies. Once the businesses were closed, our car was the ONLY one in the parking lot, which left us feeling somewhat vulnerable. Also difficult to sleep due to the lack of darkening curtains and cars driving by frequently. Communication with the host was great.

Great place and very clean. Close to downtown and Biltmore. Will visit again. If you visit, you may hear a knocking noise. It’s a lime or lemon tree dropping on the roof. Took me a while to figure that out.

The apartment itself was fine. It was clean and seemed well stocked. But it was also really creepy. It is in what looks to be a motor lodge turned into an office park with three apartment units. It is off a busy road, but when you turn in feels totally isolated. Don't think lodge, which has a quaint feel. Think creepy motor lodge. Because of its proximity to the road it is VERY noisy all night. Adding to the problem -- our first night the alarm went off several times. We didn't know if someone was trying to break in and we stayed up all night. The next day we contacted the owner and he told us it was the battery in the alarm and we should replace the batteries. However, there was no screw driver in the apartment and when we finally used a fork to get the unit open, the batteries the owner said were in the apartment were the wrong size. So we spent the second night with the door partially unlocked. And we couldn't leave the apartment because we would have to leave it unlocked to get back in. And that was a second sleepless night. The owner should have had someone come out and fix it when we notified him in the afternoon, rather than asking us to be locksmiths without the supplies. Between the communication issues, the creepy location, and the street noise I would not recommend.

Great stay in a super location! Clean, cute apartment with kitchen and living room. Location is awesome, just a few minutes from downtown Asheville, even a couple restaurants within walking distance. Great value too! Highly recommend this place and will be back again

The rooms are nice at first glance but they are located in a strip mall and there is not any exterior space. You should not call it a lodge if there is no exterior place to hang out.. Very noisy road running by the lodge.
