OCEANVIEW Waves – La Waves Dr. – Sure to impress your family, JUST BEACHY has something for everyone to get the most out of their stay. Perched on a quiet street in the heart of Waves, bring your group to the beach, lounge by the pool, or spend the day exploring everything Hatteras Island has to offer.
Unload the car, step into the all-floor elevator, and glide right into relaxation. From the outside, venture up the ramp towards a sparking pool with loungers and an outside shower to help you rinse off after a day in the sun. At night, soak up the silence and the starry sky in the six-person hot tub. If inside adventures are more your speed, walk into the first level and find the game room. Complete with a pool table, arcade games, half bath, and a wet bar; game night can be every night! Also, on this level you can find a master bedroom with a queen bed and private bath and a pyramid bunk bedroom, perfect for kids or those who want to stay close to the competition.
On the second level, you will find the majority of this home’s bedrooms. All masters, a king and three queen bedrooms all feature private baths, TVs, and walk-in closets. From here, you can venture out to the covered deck, allowing for shady afternoon relaxation or a morning coffee perch. The home’s sixth and final master bedroom is on the third floor, not only featuring a TV and walk-in closet, but also including a private bathroom complete with a jacuzzi.
While the first level is for those who want to play, the third is for everyone to come together. With an open floor plan, everyone can relax with plenty of space. Gather in the great room to watch your favorite shows or talk about the day’s adventures. The chef of the group will have a ball preparing the family favorites, eaten around the dining table fit for ten or outside on the covered porch. A powder room is even available to wash up before diving in. For those who need some quiet, venture to the fourth-floor tower room, where you can sit at a table or take in the breathtaking views.

Beautiful location walking distance from ocean. The home is great elevator assess for wheelchair, bathrooms in each bedroom awesome!

Wonderful house in a great location. Close to the beach and close enough to Avon for all of the shopping necessaries. The kitchen was a little lacking in pots and pans if you had a larger group but for the 5 of us it worked.

It was OK for the off season price. The house could use a little more up keep and a few amenity updates.
If we had bad weather we would be more bummed out, but we had good weather 5/7 days, so we weren’t in the house too much except the early mornings and evenings.
What we liked was the location to the beach and the spaciousness of the house.
What we didn’t like was the house amenities. The kitchen was the barest I’ve seen in a house rental this size and the fridge door was broken. The WiFi was spotty at best and only reliable in one section of the house. The hot tub lid was falling apart and water logged and was extremely heavy for one person to take off and put on. No smart TVs.
The worst part of our experience was that the Septic tank backed up on the ground floor and spilled over into one of the tubs and bathrooms. We were quick to turn off all the water in use and the rental agency was helpful in getting a plumber out in 1hr. They followed up with a cleaning service the next morning. I don’t know if I blame the house, rental company or chalk it up to season switch overs from a house not being used. Either way, bad evening.
