The Grabow Bay on the Baltic Sea—visible from the house, with its new pier at the idyllic marina—is located about 400 m away.
From the 200-meter-long pier, you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Grabow Bay on the Baltic Sea.

Boat access is available at the harbor (boat ramp), and storage space is provided on the property. Hiking and biking trails (suitable for inline skaters) are well-developed and run along the Baltic Sea bay (European Circular Hiking Trail). Horseback riding and bike rentals are available at the youth hostel near Glöwitz (2 km); affordable horseback riding options are available in Barth-Planitz, which has a new indoor riding arena.
Shopping options are available right in Barth, with numerous supermarkets (on the bypass).
There is a DLRG-supervised swimming area in Glöwitz.
Water sports equipment can be rented at the local water sports center (which has a surf, kite, and sailing school).
From the pier at the harbor, you can enter the shallow water (great surfing and kiteboarding conditions!).
The fine-sand beaches of Zingst are about 20 minutes away. There you’ll also find a wide range of recreational activities (e.g., go-kart rentals, the Zingst narrow-gauge railway, fishing trips, boat trips to Hiddensee Island, Bodden tours, horse-drawn carriage rides, ...).
In Stralsund (30 km), the Hanse Dom water park and the Maritime Museum are highly recommended.
