About this house rental

Very confortable (with recent improvements) house, only six steps away from the famous Ferradura beach. 5 spacious suites and one additional room. Swimming pool, sauna, bbq area, lovely tropical garden with large lawns facing the sea.

After spending 3 months trying to find the perfect vacation home for my family, we were thrilled to have contacted Veronique - an owner who not only posted accurate photos and descriptions, but was very involved in ensuring we had all the information we needed (and even checked in on us after our arrival!). Because we were traveling from the US, and there were 9 of us, we had lots of questions! The house was just as beautiful as the photos. It was much larger than we thought it would be. Incredibly clean and very comfortable. You could tell this was not just a rental, but a home where the owner spends her free time as well. The "caseiros" (the couple who runs the house) live in a portion of the house in the back. In addition to keeping the house very well maintained (housekeeping, gardening, etc.) they cooked incredible meals, did our grocery shopping, took us to town when needed, and were available 24/7 if we needed them. They provide incredible service, while ensuring your privacy. I was the only portugues speaking person in the house, but they were able to communicate well with the rest of the family. The area, Ferradura, is by far the most beautiful and luxurious in Buzios. This house is perfectly situated because we were able to go out to the beach when we wanted where there are all kinds of rentals (Kayaks, boats, paddle boards, etc.). We probably spent most of our time in the pool and relaxing in the hammocks. At night we enjoyed delicious dinners overlooking the beach cooked by the staff. We often took at 5 minute cab into Rua das Pedras for dinner, shopping and nightlife as well. I wish we had stayed longer than a week. We hope to return one day. It was perfect for family, but next time we hope to bring our friends for a whole new experience.
