This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its community rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat.
NOISE
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Keep noise indoors during these hours.
No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.
PARKING
Keep all tires off the road.
Don’t block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host.
Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840).
No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is available with written approval from your host.
OUTDOOR FIRES
High wildfire risk area!
No open fires.
No unattended fires.
No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions; check MassanuttenVillage dot com
No Smoking Indoors:
A $600 fee applies if smoking occurs inside. This covers professional smoke extraction and ozone air treatment to remove odors and ensure a fresh environment for the next guest.
Pet Policy:
Approved pets may be subject to a pet fee to cover extra cleaning. This ensures our cleaners are notified in advance and can use specialized products to remove pet dander—important for future guests with allergies. Unauthorized pets incur a $350 fee.

The house was in a very quiet street and made for a great stay. Screened in porch was fantastic in the evening. Projector room and games were awesome. Kitchen and bathrooms were dated but worked fine. We had a very nice 2 night stay with family.

Communication with the property manager was excellent. The location of this home within Massanutten is also convenient. But the listing photos are either old, digitally enhanced, or both. The property is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean, to say the least. We were really disappointed to arrive and find that the property wasn’t nearly what was depicted in the photos, and definitely upset to have paid the rate that we did to stay here. Photos in this review are from our stay in June 2025.
