Beautiful condominium with all the conveniences for a fun family. On-site amenities include a swimming pool (open May until October 12), gazebo, large deck area, private parking and all of the standard items found in our homes (excluding individual outside showers). Tennis courts and charcoal barbecue grills are on site.
Carolina Sunshine has all the amenities to make your vacation comfortable. This condo is about 1,200 square feet with three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and sleeps 8 people.
Single Level: King Master Bedroom with TV/DVD, Queen Bedroom with TV that shares a full bath with a third bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets and tv. Great Room with Smart HD TV/VCR/DVD, stereo with CD, dining area seating 6 and kitchen.
Extras: 3 TVs, 2 DVD players, VCR, stereo with CD, wireless high-speed internet access, Keurig Coffee machine, video/book libraries, high chair, pack-n-play, picnic table, charcoal grill, parking for 2 vehicles, and Community Pool and Tennis. Carolina Sunshine is part of the Indian Summer Condominium Complex, located in section F of Ocean Sands in Corolla. A short walk to the beach for an early morning run, day of play in the surf or a leisurely stroll as the sun sets.
The first bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk bed. The master bedroom has a king bed with its own full bathroom. Third bedroom has a queen bed. All bedrooms have plenty of closet space, dresser drawers, TV/DVD players, and ceiling fans. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The second bathroom is located off the main hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including a Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart griddle/grill/panini maker, Cuisinart blender and waffle maker . Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, bowls, dishes, cocktail/wine glasses, and a variety of serving utensils.
Carolina Sunshine’s large, covered deck overlooks the pool. An outdoor fan on the condo deck provides a lovely breeze on hot days. This condo is on the top floor, an end unit which assures privacy, peace and quiet. The pool is open roughly May-October and for the use of Indian Summer residents and renters only. There are plenty of pool chairs and dining tables available for your use on the pool deck. There are also grilling stations(charcoal) on the property, as well as picnic tables and a covered area poolside.
Carolina Sunshine is on the second floor and requires guests to climb two sets of stairs. There is a private carport on the ground level that will fit two cars, limited to two cars only of normal size. Also note that while it is a short walk to the beach, there is a stairway over the dunes in order to access the beach.
Each bed has a comforter, pillows, and extra blankets. Starter supplies such as hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags are provided for guests.
Carolina Sunshine is conveniently located next to shopping centers and restaurants as well. The Harris Teeter grocery store is directly across the street, a short walk, as well as Duck Donuts, The Off The Wall Tap Room, Pizzazz Pizza, An Ice Cream Shop, Wings Gift Shop and The Wild Horse AdventureTours. A short drive to the north will bring you to the Timbuck II Shopping Village which has over 60 shops and restaurants. A little further up Route 12 is the 4 x 4 area is accessible where wild horses roam.
If you enjoy tennis, there are courts on site . For those who want to get in a round of golf, the Currituck Club is located directly across Route 12 and offers some stunning views of the Sound Side of the Outer Banks.

We love this condo - clean, well stocked and perfect location just a short walk to the beach and right across the street from grocery store, restaurants, shopping etc. Kathy was also very responsive and a great host. We will be back, highly recommend!

Loved the condo. It was just the right size for our family. Close to the beach and overlooked the pool. The house was fully stocked with games and books for rainy days. The only thing I would add is that if you have small kids or older people in your group there are a lot of stairs. But we didn’t so we were fine. Also, since it’s on the end the pool guy blocks you in every morning so plan your donut run around that. (There is a Harris Teeter and Duck Donuts within walking distance if you’re up for it though)
