Apartment with balcony 5 min from the Vatican Museums and 3 min from the metro

What a wonderful surprise. This was our first time in Rome, and we could not have been happier with our choice. This property is beautiful and incredibly spacious. It is clearly a home that the owners can be very proud of. They have done an exceptional job to ensure that their guests feel comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. It is tastefully decorated, very elegant and the building has great history, The bed is super comfortable with great pillows! I don't recall sleeping this well in any other rental I have stayed in. There is a beautiful antique Italian furniture alongside modern pieces. There is beautiful tiling throughout the property. The bathroom has everything you need including a washer if you need to wash your clothes. The kitchen is more than adequate with cooker, fridge, microwave etc. There is a table and chairs to sit at. The apartment has great A/C but also large windows that when opened create a wonderful breeze throughout. It has a lovely little balcony, it is quiet, and you can see the walls to the Vatican very close by. It is close to the subway, so easy to get to the airport (Taxi from the airport is 55 euros) The owners were so lovely they gave us so much information as to where to eat and to visit. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by alongside a supermarket just steps away. I rarely give a 5 but this time in my opinion deserves it. we cannot wait to return.
