Perched on a quiet corner in a beloved Mesa neighborhood is this cheerful home with ocean views and only minutes from the coastal bliss of Santa Barbara's beaches. The location is ideal, the home, impeccable.
Care has been taken to create a seamless experience for visitors in this newly renovated home whose design and color palette echo the hues of the nearby surf, sand, and blue sky overhead. Coming in at over 3,300 square feet, this home is as spacious as it is beautiful.
Wide garden steps ascend from the driveway to the front entrance and foyer. Additional stairs inside lead to varying levels and should be taken into consideration for guests with mobility issues.
Once on the second-floor main level, the great room is truly the heart of this exceptional home, with soaring ceilings and a grand-scale picture window framing the ocean views. With a radiant heat fireplace available at the touch of a button, a streaming-enabled flat-screen tv, an intimate shaded terrace, and plenty of seating, guests can truly settle into this welcoming space. An elegant dining table offers formal seating for those special occasions. From here, step up to a bright and well-stocked kitchen with two large granite islands offering the invitation to create memorable meal times effortlessly. A breakfast table for six is tucked beside another large window with more ocean and neighborhood views. Brew your coffee with ease using the Nespresso machine, or utilize the drip or Keurig options available as well. The house itself is amazing with an incredible location. It was well stocked and big enough for a large group. However, the property manager wasn’t very responsive/helpful. I had to reach out for a few things including the check-in information and they took a while to respond.

This place is perfection! We loved the location, the decor, the cleanliness, the layout, the comfy beds, the quality linens and towels, the well-stocked kitchen - it all added up to perfection. In my 15 years of renting from VRBO, this is the most outstanding home we've enjoyed.

Property was beautiful, clean, stocked, and in a great location.
I was notified that the refrigerator was broken an hour before check-in on Tuesday. The rentor would not purchase a temporary refrigerator (local options at less cost than I was spending for a day) and relocated a small mini fridge without a working freezer upstairs. I informed the rentor that I needed a working refrigerator and freezer for the expected group of six adults for the holiday and was told they were working on it.
On Thursday I was told that a repairman could come to fix it on Saturday (5 days after check in) and was asked if I wanted a rep for the rentor to be present during the repair which I affirmed.
The repair/rebuild took nearly 10 hours on 2 Saturday visits spanning from 9:30am to 7:30pm; and a Sunday visit at 11am. A representative from the rentor was only available for half of this effort - so I oversaw. They were only able to fix the refrigerator, not the freezer.
On Monday a person arrived with little notice to install a temporary freezer. Next an electrician showed up with no notice to fix an outlet.
That was our first week - meals eaten out and significant disruption from repeated maintenance calls. On Saturday we were not able enjoy the area (or even have a decent meal) as the entire day was spent watching over repairmen.
They should have brought a temp refrigerator and saved us seven days of pain.
