SOUTH SANDS is a much-loved three-bed beach house in Elie, just moments from the golden sandy beach perfect for morning swims, beach walks, and relaxed days by the sea. Set along South Street in the heart of the East Neuk, it’s perfectly placed for easy strolls to the deli, bakery, the popular Ship Inn, and the village golf course.
Wake up to sea views and the sound of the waves in this beautifully styled coastal home, just moments from the beach. Designed in soft, calming tones that reflect the surrounding coastline, the house blends relaxed seaside charm with contemporary comfort creating the perfect retreat for families, couples, and friends looking for a peaceful escape by the sea.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Upstairs you’ll find two spacious king bedrooms, both light-filled and restful. One enjoys sweeping views across the sea and sandy beach, while the second overlooks the peaceful back garden and features its own ensuite shower room. Plush carpets add comfort underfoot, and a chic family bathroom with a lovely sea view completes the upper floor.
On the ground floor, a bright garden-facing bedroom with two single beds is perfect for children or friends sharing. There’s also a handy cloakroom by the front door.
Cosy Living Spaces
The welcoming sitting room is a relaxing place to unwind after a day at the beach, with comfortable seating and a cosy log burner for cooler evenings.
Families are well catered for, with a hidden selection of toys for younger guests and a charming little reading nook beside the kitchen stocked with book favourites and a perfect spot for quiet moments or bedtime stories.

At the heart of the home is a bright, spacious dining kitchen overlooking the herb garden. The traditional AGA brings warmth and character, ideal for slow holiday breakfasts, pancake mornings, or drying socks after a windswept beach walk.
A large dining table with bench seating makes this a sociable hub of the house perfect for family meals, games, and long conversations after a day exploring the coast.

Great location, kitchen well stocked - only has an Aga for cooking which we didn’t mind but might be harder if gurus not used to this. Wifi good and garden a suntrap during the day. Easy access to beach, golf, pub etc. We had a great time
