About this house rental
This modern 2500 square foot vacation rental has a panoramic ocean view. Sitting on the 26th Avenue Beach, it is located between the Capitola and Santa Cruz piers just west of Pleasure Point. (County Permit #231534)
The AwesomeView is situated on a point which sets the home farther out towards the ocean than any of the multi-million dollar homes on either side, so you have a complete 180 degree panoramic view of the ocean. Whether during the day when the sun sparkles off the water or in the evening when the moon's reflection is captured in the silver lining curl of the waves, the view is breathtaking and will command your attention often during your stay.
Every room, except the bathrooms, has an ocean view. Even when cooking or washing the dishes, you can enjoy the ocean's entertainment from the peacefulness of the breaking waves to the plethora of wildlife such as sea otters, porpoises, a variety of birds, and of course, the surfers who find the shore-break in front of our home one of the best in Santa Cruz.
The home has three bedrooms plus a kid’s sleeping area, three full bathrooms, three living rooms, three TV’s (75" LG in living room and 55" downstairs kid's room, and one HDTV in master bedroom), Xfinity Cable for WiFi Mesh Network and more. Beautiful property, super family and pet friendly. Sunrise coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean and a sunset cocktail in the evening watching surfing and sea life . Very user friendly, plenty of room to spread out. Perfect basically private beach. Marty is a great host, Can’t wait to comeback!

The view here cannot be beat! The whole family enjoyed a comfy stay and our dog absolutely loved the dog-friendly beach just a short walk away.

Incredible views, very comfortable house including well equipped kitchen. Everything provided—soaps and shampoo, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. No need to run out and buy necessities. Doesn’t feel like rental, more like a well-lived home.

We had a fabulous stay at Awesome View. The location is AMAZING. Not just the full 200* panoramic ocean view but its located right between 26 and Moran Beach. That strip of East Cliff is peaceful and residential, very "local". Parking was easier than expected. We had 3 cars and room for all. The kitchen was well-stocked. Double sets of dishes and silverware meant only running a full load occasionally. Cookware was amply sufficient to feed a crowd of foodies. The beds were comfortable! Every bed was complaint-free - good, firm mattresses, soft and firm pillows, comfortable linens. Marty was very helpful and met our request for unscented detergent, keeping us allergy-free. I am a bedding snob and I was VERY comfortable here. Each bedroom had a view too. Falling asleep to the sound of the surf was magical. We did run a few loads of towels. A party of 6 can go through linens quickly, but that's on us. We did bring beach towels with us but having some dedicated to the outside use would have been handy. We made great use of the grill- it is charcoal so plan ahead. The patio does get direct sun so bring your hats and plan for making your shade or retreating indoors during the hot afternoons. The bodyboards in the garage were also put to use. The surf outside was pounding, but we rode some waves and survived! Go and have fun, but be mindful its a strong current. Thank you for hosting us, Marty! We will remember this trip forever and can't wait to come back.
