Escape to our Happy Place in Carlton Landing!
Our Story- in 2014 shortly after losing our third child - Evans, a friend threw us the keys to their condo in Florida and told us, “Get away, go heal as a family in our happy place!”. On that trip, we vowed that one day we would own a home where families could escape to make memories and heal! We would like to welcome you and your family to Evans Escape.
This bright, spacious, newly remodeled home features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, screened in back porch w/ fireplace & dining, a backyard ready for s’mores, BBQ & late-night conversations, beautiful front porch with porch swing & second story porch w/ seating & an additional swing. Getting away as a family, with a group of friends, for a business retreat or to celebrate a special occasion, Evans Escape comfortably accommodates 14 guests, whether you’re a family w/ children or professionals on a business trip, this home is perfect for both!
A bright & spacious, open floor plan joins the living, dining, and kitchen area. You’ll love the open gourmet kitchen, equipped with premium stainless-steel appliances. Seating for 6 at the large bar allows those prepping & cooking not to miss out on time w/ their guests & families can easily serve kids. The nearby dining area offers seating for at least 8 guests. Comfortable & inviting furnishings make the living area a wonderful place to relax after a long day in the sun; guests can choose to watch the large screen tv or play games as they hang or simply chill w/ music of their choice playing on the in-home entertainment surround speakers. The spacious mudroom & laundry room open into the screened in outdoor living/dining space which offers seating for six, plus a fireplace. This outdoor living opens up to a fenced in backyard with a brick fireplace, grill and comfy outdoor furniture, that seats 4, a place to enjoy roasting smores, grilling out & late-night conversations. The main king suite with an attached bath is located on the first floor & includes a crib & large flat screen tv.
On the second floor are three guest rooms offering a variety of sleeping arrangements. The beautiful primary suite boasts a lavish king bed and a spacious ensuite bathroom. The second guest room features a queen. The bunk room offers a two built-in bunk beds - for a total of 4 queens & plenty of floor space. All 3 rooms have tvs & the second room & bunk share a full bath. The landing space outside of the rooms opens into a spacious balcony porch, w/ swing & spacious individual seating where the views & peaceful sounds invite guests to curl up w/ a book, enjoy their morning cup of coffee or take that long awaited vacation nap.
Location, location! Guests will be steps away from The Meeting House, Boardwalk Pool and Spa and short walk to Mama Tigs and The Marina. Evans Escape is centrally located on the main street in town - Boulevard.

This home is beautiful and so comfortable! We had a party of 10 adults and all slept well. We also enjoyed having multiple areas to spend time together and fit comfortably. Between the front porch, turfed back yard, screened in porch, and large living room we always had a new area to spend time. The only reason we are rating 4 starts instead of 5 is the lack of necessary supplies (drinking

The home was perfect for our family trip. A great location and had the space and everything that we needed. The enclosed backyard was a nice space for young children. There was limited parking for this property, but we were able to find spots close by since it wasn’t very crowded when we were there.

The house was beautiful and comfortable! We loved it all, especially the queen size bunk beds were great! There were only enough towels for one day, so we had to do laundry every day, but the washer and dryers were great. The only complaint we had was the first day we were there, a maintenance crew woke us up. We thought they would do their thing and leave, but ended up staying until 5 pm so the back yard was off limits for the kids the whole first day. Would definitely go back to this beautiful place, less the maintenance crew.

Very awesome spot.. really great to have a quick getaway in Oklahoma. I will tell you we had a great time.. first thing, cleanliness. It wasn’t cleaned... or at least deep cleaned. I realize they had a large party prior but I do have high expectations of cleanliness. The place was way cleaner when we left than when we got there. Also, I didn’t know that someone was living over the garage so when my husband left, the kids and I left too (3 days early) because I just didn’t feel safe.sure he is great and you’ve done all the background checks but when it’s just you and two toddlers, it didn’t seem logical to me.
