About this cottage rental
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lake cottage or take a needed solo getaway. Views of Lake Manawa and steps away you can put in your kayak or throw out a fishing line. Amazing trails very close to the home. These trials connect to Wabash Trace, downtown Omaha, the Riverfront, and more.
Very close to I29 and I80, Iowa West Field House/Sports Plex, Iowa Western, Creighton, Henry Doorly Zoo, Lauritzen Gardens, Old Market, CHI Center, Mid American Center, Stir Concert Cove, and so much more.
The space
We fell in love with this cozy little lake cottage and hope you do as well. It’s designed for families or small groups to enjoy the lake and community we love so much. Yet it’s also the perfect size for a getaway as a couple to relax and unwind. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need for indoor or outdoor meals, the beds and linens are comfy, there are games for adults and kids, smart tvs, full size air hockey table and old school pac man cocktail table game.
Guest access
You have access to the entire home just not the garage. The yard surrounding the home is very small, if you’re bringing your furry family members along please be courteous of the neighbors and keep them on a leash or right near the home, and of course pick up after them.
Other things to note
This home is tucked behind another house right off the main street. So your lake views are partially obstructed by that home. On the deck you can still see the water really well and a quick walk across the road gives you unbeatable sunsets.
Bicycles and helmets are available upon request for an additional fee. What better way to take advantage of the nearby trails?
Kayaks and stand up paddle boards are also available upon request for an additional fee.
We love your furry family members and welcome dogs but no cats are allowed.
To respect our wonderful neighbors we do not allow gatherings, parties, or events of any kind inside or outside the home.
This listing is priced assuming a family of 4. We can easily accommodate 8. If more than 4 people stay we charge an extra $20/person.

Cozy and comfortable. Opulent master suite. Loaded with fun family activities. Perfectly peaceful porch-evening sunsets overlooking the lake. Responsive owners. Perfect chill-lax place.

Josh was very accommodating and the home was great for our 3 day stay. We even had an opportunity to see where the near by beach was. The rooms were perfect for our 3 boys and they had everything ready for us and some when we showed up! We’d definitely stay there again when we’re heading to Omaha!

This property is very cute and set up with enough beds/ bedrooms. Our group had 7 members and we were comfortable. Overall impression was a clean and tidy cottage. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.Our only thing we were surprised by is the pull out bed in the sofa was full of chip crumbs. I'm sure it just got missed as the rest of the home was neat and clean.
