"Great property in a great location in Rome. Felt like we were staying in a contemporary art museum in an old restored Italian property. Also was quiet at night for being so central."

Beautiful property in a very nice area. Lots of dishes, glasses and pots and pans if you want to do your own cooking. The host greeted us with a bottle of prosecco and wine, which was an unexpected, but pleasant surprise. The little “patio” area had some cute lights, but no batteries. It was very nice to have a washing machine, but it took a long time to dry our clothes, and there was only one drying rack. The beds were smaller than we are used to, but everything was clean with plenty of blankets. The second bedroom is extremely small, but we only slept and changed our clothes in there, so it was fine. I felt very safe there. The front of the building was either locked or an attendant was there, and the door to our apartment was solid. The hosts reached out to me through WhatsApp, so that threw me off a little because I thought all of the communication would be through the VRBO app. There is an additional “city tax” that you have to pay at all places in Italy, and we had to send photos of our passports. Including this only because I was hesitant, but in Italy, it’s what they do. There’s also a great little waffle shop just down the road. We had a great stay.

Amazing stay for our trip. We were able to walk everywhere. Clean and comfortable - ac was great - and we needed it - Rome was so hot when we were there. Well stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again

This rather spacious and comfortable apartment is located on a quiet street near the Tiber and on the fringe of the Historic section of Rome. It’s perfect if you want to stay within reasonable walking distance from The Vatican, Trevi Fountain and The Colosseum. Security is good, and the neighbors are silent. The platform beds have futon-like mattresses, which are on the firm side but comfortable. The layout is fun, with a wet bar and plenty room to dine and relax. Showers and toilets are decent, and each bathroom is equipped with a bidet as well. The large kitchen has all the wares you’ll need, including a large refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine for clothing. There’s also a Nespresso machine, toaster and a few other electrical appliances. There’s even a small, private courtyard off the kitchen to enjoy. Overall, the flat is an excellent choice for 3 or 4 adults.Quirks: If you use the wet bar, you’ll want to stock your own booze because the present bottles are only for show. There is no clothes dryer, so you’ll want to bring a portable clothes line. The A/C units in the flat must all be set to the same mode or none of them will work. Recommend reading the detailed information they provide when you check in. It will save you some time and possible anxiety. Last thing: if you use toilet paper, you’ll want to locate a grocer that sells the soft stuff.
